After my husband of 60 years passed away, I traded in 2 cars and purchased a new small car to fit my needs from Naperville Mazda. I was promised the first 3 service checkup of the vehicle would be covered under the purchase price. I received notification in the mail the first service was due and made an appointment. Upon leaving, I was advised of the charge for $70, so I asked to speak to a manager, who was unavailable. So I paid the $70 since they refused to deliver my car without payment. I spoke to **** the Assistant ** afterward who told me there was nothing he could do. My son called back and spoke to ****** who advised he would speak to the ** and get back to us. 5 phone calls later and no response. I am in my mid 80's and on a fixed income. The only reason I was able to purchase the car was due to the 2 trade in values. Empty promises from the dealership to an emotionally torn older woman should not be acceptable - all over $70 on a very high priced automobile. I do not know how these people sleep at night knowing they have taken advantage of the elderly and going back on promises.

Disappointed I went to this dealership due to it being Mazda I had a 30 day blue shield warranty on my vehicle I 1st took my vehicle in 9/2/23 to get an inspection to make sure all was good I was seen by *********. In service I was told all this on my vehicle was good and in GREEN,took my car in 2 months later **** to get an oil change an I get hit with a massive bill saying my bakes are now really bad an I need etc over ***** needed things for my car its was then disappointing and still as of today is due to the fact I had a ******************************************************************************************************************************** two before and not just LIE to me as a Mazda customer. I use my car on a daily for my family and was depending on the service department.four weeks ago my oil light comes on I took my car to Mazda immediately After work I found it strange due to my oil sticker in my car, saying that it wasnt due until 6/01/23 once I got there **** C in service told me that the sticker was wrong I ask him to check the oil please because thats not okay **** an called for a mechanic **** and they both tell me that all the caps on good and its good on oil talking to me both in a disrespectful tone as if Im dumb having side conversations looking at me in the car shop room. I told him that its not okay that they made a mistake like that its a new car I just brought it **** says its fine its not the oil man and **** refuses to put more oil in. Today 5.9.23 JenniferM rep sends me a video saying service things are due on my car and that the oil was really dirty and over due **** miles which was another disappointment here, *** in service the manager gives me a call and agrees it was not okay and they promised an oil change and car wash but did think his team check my car right which I completely disagree over 9 things just pop up in 2 months? I went to pick up my car to find it still running on burning my car for over 7 hours! On E!

When I purchased a Mazda CX-5 (VIN *****************) on 3/12/22, I purchased a *************** Agreement (Gold) for $2740. The agreement was sold to us (my partner, ***********************, was present) as a maintenance agreement, so that (I thought) all maintenance was covered for 8 years/75000 miles. **** is how **** understood the agreement also. I have recently come to find out that the agreement does not cover maintenance at all, but things such as 24/7 roadside assistance. I would not have purchased the agreement if it was truthfully described.I do not recall the name of the finance person that sold the agreement to us (perhaps it was ****, you can't tell by the signature on the agreement), but the person was African American. During the closing process, **** (if that was his name), indicated he was giving us his employee discount. I do not believe he gave us any employee discount.

This place a complete joke. Car was purchased on 4/19. First they sell me a car with no coolant in the car, mentioned it to them the next day I took the car off the lot. They want to say since its a ***** and they dont have a special coolant. Then they said I had to pay half and they pay the other half? That should have been done and paid for by the dealership!! There is a 14 day return policy own up to that! I give no f*** if the car past the expectation. The coolant does not drain in 24hrs of no usage. There is also proof via email but they want to play dumb. Then they replaced my tire twice and in fact said it was new its actually used with a small leak. I called to replaced and they gave me a entire speech about I could have went over something on the way home. ********************* my sales rep was actually no help at all knowing the situation.

On 1/4/22, I brought my 20 10 Mazda CX9 GT AWD to the Mazda dealership for an oil change. They did the oil change and charged me 59 dollars for the service. They did not provide the windshield sticker with date, mileage etc. When I was returning home, at traffic lights during idling, I could smell oil burning smell inside the cabin. I thought maybe a small old oil fell onto the exhaust and might be generating this smell. The next morning, I found an oil leak, from the front half of the vehicle, on my garage floor. But after a few days, the cabin smell was there each time I was idling. I brought back the car and told them about this issue. They told me that everything was fine. Yesterday, I made a trip to ***********. This morning there was a lot of soot on my driveway and garage floor, which is difficult to remove. It looks and smells like burnt oil. I am going to call them again tomorrow to explain the situation. They need to fix this and clean my garage floor of soot.
