I booked two trips to visit my family at Christmas time (December 2023) two days ago. As soon as I booked them, Bookingace.com sent me 2 emails (for the two trips) with links to confirm the flights with their sales team. I sent them emails to confirm since everything was in order, apparently. They did not respond to my emails, so I called them to make sure the flights were confirmed. They told me the flights I booked were no longer available, and if I was flexible, they could get me a different flight the day before the date I had chosen, but I had to pay around $300 more per passenger. I told them I did not want the tickets at that price, and to cancel the bookings. They said the tickets were non-refundable, so either I paid them the extra $600 or I will lose the money they had changed to my credit card. I knew they had not charged the card yet because I did not get an email from the credit card with the charge. I told them I could not afford to pay $600 more because I would be exceeding my credit card limits. They told me that was too bad and the only way I would not lose my money was to charge the extra $600. This conversation went on for about 20 minutes. I hung up and told them I'd call later. I called my credit card company and told them of the situation and they said no amount had been charged or pending to be charged from them; so I blocked the credit card. This company deserves zero stars. They are scammers; the classic "bait and switch," transaction, which is illegal. Afterwards I read online they had done exactly the same thing to other people, only some people were actually charged and they did not want to refund their money. They called me, and texted me to call again to confirm the tickets, but I did not do that. They are shameless. Buyer Beware!
