I called Superior Garage ************ at ************ on 01/04/2024. I found the ad on ******* When I called, I explained what the problem was with my garage door and asked for a repairman ASAP, the lady dispatcher said a person would be out within the hour. Then a gentleman called and said he would be here within 30 mins and while I was on the phone with him, another gentleman called and asked me if I still needed service, and if so he would schedule it. I advised him that the service tech had already called and said he was on his way. The male dispatcher seemed confused, but said OK. I immediately called back to find out what was going on and the lady dispatcher assured me that the technician on the way was legit. Soon after, the service guy arrived and checked out my pulley system which was hanging down on 1 side and advised me that it just needed to be tightened which he proceeded to fix. then he told me that I needed to replace the rollers. When I asked how much that would cost he told me $600. I thought that was excessive, (what do I know) but agreed to let him replace them. It took him maybe ***** minutes. I wrote him a check and he posted some stickers on my wall and garage door with the name "premium garage door" with the phone number of ************. I paid by check and he left. The invoice has both names". Premium Garage door" and "Superior garage doors" and 2 other garage door company names. I decided to look up Premium and found all the bad reviews so, I looked up the price of the rollers and you can buy them for $25-30 for 10 rollers. I thought I had hired someone from a reputable company and feel that I was deceived. I have thought about filing fraud charges, but I am not sure what to do. I do not understand how I got the wrong company out here company, Is he somehow cutting in on the other company's business? The service tech that was here said he was the owner EK of EK garage doors which is another name on the invoice.

Our right side garage door would only open 1/5 of the way this morning when using either remote. When I was not home, my husband, who has dementia, called the number Premium Garage Door Repair, who had supposedly made repairs on the same door 3 months ago. We had paid them $2,000 for that job. While I was not home, the man came, spent a little over one hour apparently "fixing" the same door he had repaired 3 months ago, then went on the replace 2 drums, 2 springs, and 10 rollers on the OTHER garage door. We had not asked him to even look at the other door. He then charged (including $375 in labor) my husband $1755 plus $110 in tax. My husband does not remember what the man had done to "fix" the first door. They had not been called today for any problems with the second door. I felt they had overcharged us on the first repair 3 months ago and intended to never use them again. I did phone the man as soon as I returned home to discuss the exhorbitant charge. He would not adjust the bill. I told him I would inform the Better Business Bureau and stop payment on the charge until this is resolved.

I was looking for Superior garage door online appointment for July 17 between 11 AM and 2 PM. A man that did not speak English well he did not have a business card. He did not have any brochures. He did not have any samples for a new garage door quote. He wrote up on a piece of paper, his guesstimate estimate. He then proceeded to ask for $29 for his service call. I said $29. I dont know anything about $29 service call I asked for a quote.I reviewed Superior Garage Door website it did not say anything about $29 or that they would charge me anything to come out to give me a quote on a garage door. Very unprofessional. I called the company to ask them why is he charging me $29 and the lady says thats what we do when you need to pay it and then he said that he wanted a credit card or check and I said I have cash so I gave him the cash and then he made me sign the document and I said why am I signing this? Its just a quote. I talked to three people at three different times about the situation and they were very rude over the phone and could not answer my question or send me any text message or email on where it shows that they are charging $29. I do not want this to happen to anyone else and that is the reason why Im complaining and I want my refund of $29.00. ***************************** *********************************************** PS this quote was for my daughters house in ********** at ***************************If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ************. You can email me a response or if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you. *****************************

I purchased a new garage door opener on 12/17/22 from this company. A technician came out to asset my old unit, which was 20 years old. And said it couldnt be fixed and i needed to replace it. So I replaced the unit, while it was being installed I asked if they were going to replace the chain as well. He said they typically do replace them but I didnt need it. I thought this was really weird, after spending over $600. So now its not even 6months later and the chain is having issues, and needs to be replaced. I called and spoke with the Owner *** and he was so disrespectful. He called me Dumb and stated that I was stupid. When I asked him why they wouldnt have changed everything when I was getting a New unit and they stated my old unit was over 20yrs old. So now to replace the chain he said its a additional $300. I asked him over and over when we spoke. Why wouldnt he replace everything at first. Theres no reason I should be calling about any issues 6 months later. He stated that they were doing me a favor and was saving me money. I tode him, I never asked for a deal when I called his company, I needed a New Working Unit. There is No reason why I would or should be having this kind of issue. It makes it even worse that he speaks to customers in this fashion after taking my hard earned money. And then hang up on me saying Call someone else because he WONT Help so my problem. Even though it states I have a warranty with his company. Something really needs to be done to business who take advantage of consumers. He should not be in business at all.

On 01/072023 I called Premium garage door repair and asked them how much would it be to replace a broken garage door spring and they gave me a price of between $180 and $240. When the technician arrived he gave me a price of $430 to complete the repair. Once I complained about the price he came down to $350.

On February 8, 2022 this business came to my home to look at an issue with my garage door not closing. The business charged me $318.75 for a misdiagnosed issue (replaced chain drive, but the actual issue was the motherboard of garage door opener). I had them come back out a few days later when the same issue continued to happen and they still were not able to fix it. A few days later I had a different company come out and that company diagnosed/fixed the issue right away and told me that Premium Garage Door Repair's diagnosis did not make any sense and was clearly wrong.I called Premium Garage Door Repair to ask for a refund of some or all of the money I paid and offered to return the chain drive they incorrectly installed. The owner of the business called me back a few days later and told me he would not refund a single cent. I tried to be reasonable and work with him on a solution that would make sense for us both and he refused to do anything to resolve the issue.

Called in early December to do estimate on garage door. The company sent someone out gave quote of $2,750.00. Told him i was still in the market looking at companies. I ultimately went with another company which was cheaper. Company kept/keeps sending harassing phone calls, and texts; Went into Winthrop harbor police and showed them the texts. This is very unprofessional of this company to do this and i want it stopped.
