    My son was hit by car insurance didnt want to cover his truck because the driver at fault wasnt in the insurance even though he had permission from owner of car with insurance

    My husband (*****) was side swiped while on his way to work on March 23rd. The driver pulled over and apologized saying that his stirring locked up and pulled him into my husbands lane, hitting the side of his car. My husband called the police to come and they completed a report. With in a few days my husband went online and printed the report and contacted Lamar General Agency who was listed as the drivers insurance company to start the claim. He spoke with the initial person on that day who gave him an agents name (*****) and a claim number. She sent my husband a link for him to send picture documentation of his car, which he did and here we are weeks later with still no response on how to proceed. We have both made several attempts to contact ************** and only get his voice mail. I called and spoke with the operator yesterday and explained that we can not reach ************** and would like to talk to his supervisor. I was given the name ****, and transferred to her her line only to be met with a voice mail as well. I have left several voice mails since early yesterday to her and ************** begging for a call back and no response. I called this morning and upon talking to the operator again was given the name *******. I left her a voice mail. This is extremely unprofessional and seams that Lamar General Agency has a history of being un responsive. We just want to know how to proceed. The other driver admitted to being at fault and yet it seams we may get stuck paying for the damages bc his insurance agency is a joke.

    To whom this may concern. I started this claim on January 26th, 2023. My vehicle was in a car accident. I was assigned to *********************** to be my adjuster for my claim. I have had so many issues with getting in contact with him. He asked for pictures of the vehicle, i got them sent over. He then sent paperwork that i had so fill out in regards of the accident, i filled it out and faxed, emailed, and mailed out the paperwork. Ive been trying to get ahold of him, leaving voicemails and sending emails. I then spoke to his manager and she took down the information from the body shop i wanted my vehicle to be taken to so they can tare the vehicle open and see if it has internal damage to determine if its a total loss or repairable. She told me NOT TO CONTACT the body shop until she or ***** did so they made sure they worked with their rates in regards of labor and storage fees. I then get a voicemail from ***** when im at work stating that they don't have the information for the body shop that i wanted to go with. I called him 1 minute after he called and he didn't picked up. I left a voicemail and he has not called me since then, this was on 3/22/2023. I am very disappointed in hoe everything is being handled by the company in general because not only the adjuster is not doing anything to assist me but the manager hasn't either. I need to be contacted within the next 24 hrs or i will be filling a lawsuit

Once I hear from them, and my truck is picked up to proceed with the claim, then I will say otherwise. Im open to give a second chance but as of right now this is my answer

    I do not get good response from Lamar General Agency in *******. It has been almost a month since my car was rear ended by someone that is insured by Lamar General Insurance. They gave me claim number but that's it. Giving promise for an update for the next week with no update. Giving a call asking an update and always ended up in a machine asking for my message. Not sure if sharing my problem here will expedite the process to repair the damage and everything else but hopefully so.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    There is a response after I submit the complaint at BBB, and I appreciate that, yet to say it is done, it require some more time.

    Because of my work I will not be able to drop off my car to repair shop until March 21st, and there will some other cost which I believe require more time so settle from Lamar Insurance.

    Repair shop said the repair will take 5 days to complete.

    My request through this complaint is to finish the job and there is another follow up required. 

    Until everything is done then I will accept the claim as completed.

    We cant get any help or resolution after our car was rear ended by someone that is insured by Lamar General Insurance. It has been 40 days since the accident and they will not give us a timeframe on when they will allow their insured to stop dodging their phone calls. The only time we get any update from them is if we initiate it. Our vehicle was significantly damaged in the accident and needs repaired, though it seems we may end up having to take care of the damages ourselves despite evidence their insured is 100% at fault.

    I am rejecting this response.  I provided them with the driver's information and they have spoke to him per the driver and the adjustor. No action has been taken to start repair of our vehicle despite admission of fault by the driver to the adjustor and in writing to us because they haven't spoke to his mother (the policy owner who won't return calls).  Today, I was told they would allow an additional 15 days for her to return calls, but that the claim may still be denied based on their failure to cooperate.  They have spoke to the driver, they know the accident took and that our vehicle was rear ended by their insured vehicle.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I have been contacting your company for 7 weeks now since our car was rear ended by your insured vehicle.   I continue to reach out every 3-5 days for an update on how we are going to proceed.  There was an admission of fault by the driver provided to you and I provided the phone number we had for him. Your company has spoken to him. Still we are not any closer to having our vehicle repaired even with the driver of the insured vehicle accepting responsibility.

    I have the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this "insurance" company. On October 27th someone with this insurance sideswept my car and the grill on his car ripped my bumper to the point where its hanging off. I called the insurance company the next day to file the claim. It's been almost a month and this insurance has not fixed my car. 1) Excuse- The other person wasn't responding. 2) Excuse- the police report is taking a while to come in. I asked them when did they request the police report, and they told me November 4th. Why it took them a week to request the police, I don't know. Here's their final tactic, deny as much responsibility as possible and low ball me so that I am forced to use my insurance. They claim that this is a shared responsibility crash. I asked them them if this is a shared responsibility how much will they cover. They told me they don't know they're going to talk to their manager. They didn't send anyone to look at the damage, but they request images of the damage which I gave them when I first filed the report. I asked the person assigned to my case what is the estimation of the damage at first it was "maybe $2000". I asked again on a separate occasion and this time it was "maybe $3000". I actually went to a professional mechanic and his quote is higher than that.If you look at my complaints and all the other complaints on this website they are very similar. They have an extremely slow response time, or they're not paying the worth of the damage. I do believe that they do this in hopes that you give up and use your insurance or pay out of pocket. My car is unsafe to drive, and I told the agent that on multiple occasions. Their response was maybe I should use my insurance. This has been a stressful ordeal and I pity anyone who has to deal with this so-called insurance. My case number is 22TXP0003715. Please do your job as insurance company and fix my car.

    An agent for this insurance reached out to me on November 23, 2022. They claimed that they needed to talk to their manager and they would get back to me by the 25th. I still haven't gotten a response. The accident happened October 27th 2022. It has been more than a month since the accident and nothing have changed. 1) They claimed that the hold-up is due being unable to get to the other person. 2) They claimed that the hold up is due to not receiving the police report. They took one whole week to even request a police report. My car is not safe to drive and I live in an area with bad public transportation system. Please fix my car.

I recommend anyone who has to deal with this company to get yourself a lawyer because this so called insurance is trifiling

    Lamar General Insurance DBA ****************************** insured a driver that did not have a drivers license which caused damage to my vehicle on 3/10/22 as the result of unsafe lane change. As of 10/15/22 we have not received funds from the insurance company (police report filed and their insured was at fault and acknowledged by Lamar). We have had the vehicle repaired at the shop recommended by Lamar General insurance. I have tried numerous times to contact *********************** and ********************* with voicemails but they refuse to return ****** calls.

    I requested cancellation of my auto insurance multiple times over the last four months, including filling out/signing paperwork they requested me to complete. I submitted this paperwork, and they continue to draft money out of my bank account! I have tried to no avail to resolve this issue over the last 4 months and it has not been resolved. I keep being told it's been taken care of. I need a refund for the last 4 months I've continued to be charged and final cancellation of this auto insurance (that I've been requesting for the last 4 months).

    One of their policy holders backed into my parked car. He gave me all the information to make the claim on his insurance. I made the claim turned in all the information I needed to so my car would be fixed from the damage that he caused by backing into my rear end. He hit my car hard enough he moved it! Well I waited gave plenty of time before I called and asked what was going on. I was told they could not get ahold of the insured ******************* policy # TXP3073182. I have done everything they asked on my part. I have witnesses that saw him back into my car. All I am asking is to have my car fixed. I got an estimate witch may not be right because how hard he hit me. The damage is deeper than cosmetic and a light. I can not drive the ************** is wrong with the rear. I wasn't asking for a new car or even the blue book value. Only what the estimate was and I would have ate the rest. But now...after all this. This happened on Thanksgiving 2021. I have waited and been nice. Now they sent me a letter and are closing the claim without fixing my car at all. I need help. Please.

    My car has been in the shop for 2 weeks i been trying to speak to the supervisor he never answers or the agent. My car has been ready and they cant give it to me because the agent hasnt send the supplement also they dont answer to pay me the extra days for the rental. I try to get a hold of them but they never answer.
