    My car was hit by a unique insured driver. He ran the red light and fled the scene. I was lucky enough to catch his plate number ,and the police found him. I decided to file through Unique ,since it was his fault. Sorry I did.! They had me take pictures and submitt. Then received a check for what they felt the damages would be. My collision shop said there were far more. Unique has ignored repair shops calls and mine. I don't understand why they get a A + rating when reviews are horrible and reviews are 1.8?

    It has been over a month now since one of their insured rear ended me. I provided the police report. I provided the ticket number and docket number for their insured. I have it in writing that they accept 100% responsibility and still will not pay out. Tried to offer me this super low ball number then realized they have no one in my area they work with. So again in writing where they will accept my shops estimate. And still nothing. This insurance company is terrible. Took me 6 shops to find one that didnt kick me out the door when I mentioned their name. I not sure how the BBB still accredits them. I have 24 days until my other child turns 16 and now I have a car to give her with a broke bumper that looks terrible. I just want them to honor their word.

    This insurance company absolutely *****. I submitted a claim 3 weeks ago and theyre still finalizing appraisals. Its been the same update since the last week. I have to call them, they never call me. Its really frustrating having to deal with all of this when their insured was at fault for the accident. Their hours are 9am-4pm, so inaccesible for a lot of folks. I had a claim with them before that they NEVER solved. I have a whole new vehicle now and had the unfortunate luck of being hit by one of their customers again. Absolute garbage of an *********************************************.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Was involved in accident and filed claim and have been given the run around. They like to steer you and force you to have your vehicle taken to one of there shops. I was told my vehicle was being taken to a local shop for the adjuster to look at it called to see if the vehicle was taken there and was told that that took it to another storage location without even notifying me. Unable to get rental because they only cover $30 and every place i called is $40-$60 a day and i would have to pay out of pocket and have to wait for reimbursement. This company does not care about it's customers and should be shut down. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone even my worst enemy

    I sure wished I had read these reviews before I got insurance with this company! And to all those people who wrote their bad experiences, contact your state Insurance Department and file a complaint! My experience was wanting to cancel my homeowner's policy because it went up over $500. They have been unprofessional with me on the phone and email and giving me the run around on my refund which is almost $800. I do not recommend this company in any way shape or form!

    This company needs to be put out of business! My daughter got into a car accident from a drunk driver of Unique insurance back in October 2023. It is now February ****, as Unique did accept the fault and have not paid anything as of yet. No rental car NOTHING!!!!This company has not paid off the remaining car balance or any medical bills

    IF I WAS ABLE TO LEAVE NO STARTS I WOULD !!! THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD, THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. I GOT HIT FROM ONE ON THEIR INSURED FOR BLOWING A STOP SIGN AND HITTING ME AND THEY DENIED ALL OF MY CLAIMS DUE TO THEIR QUOTE ON QUOTE RULES AND REGULATIONS, "THEY DO NOT COVER A FAMILY MEMBER WHO WAS DRIVING IF DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE" UMMMM ISN'T ****************** COVERING THE VEHICLE??!!! WHAT A WAY TO GET OUT OF IT. THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE ! NOW IM STUCK HAVING TO PAY OUT OF POCKET !!! FML

    Do not use this company. I had an accident and they gave me the turn around and don't want to fix my car, but collect over 500 a month from me. *************************** was my adjuster and she never respond to my calls and gave me a fake number to call her on. Good luck if you get into an accident and you need your car fix. Every one in the office act like they are clueless about anything and can't help.

    This Company is a Scam. One of their driver hit me in the rear and all they do is give you the run around. They have the police Report with everything they need but still No call back, no communication at all. I will be taking them to court. I dont understand why states allow fraudulent insurance companies. The states need to do a better job to make sure insurance companies are legal. This company is a scam and they should not be in business. I hope and pray no one is seriously injured by one of their drivers. I also hope the states intervene and shut them down.
