On 5/27/22 I hired college movers for my move. I had originally contracted them for 2 movers for 2 hours and paid that in full prior to the service. That morning I let them know I would be needing to add 2 more hours to my move, total 4 hours. The movers showed up 2 hours late, and During that time they kept telling me theyd be there soon. I got a text from them saying theyd be providing an extra mover to make up for the tardiness plus theyd be offering me an additional discount on top of that. The day after the move I received an invoice. They were charging me for 6 hours and 3 movers. They were trying to charge me for the 2 hours they were late plus the third mover was offered to me and I did not ask for a third mover nor did I consent to hiring a third mover, nor did they clarify that Id be charged extra for this. I have been in contact with the company via email and trying to get these extra charges taken off to no avail. They said theyd be discounting the 2 hours of tardiness, which I should not even be getting charged for, but they will not discount the third mover- who they sent, I did not hire.
