      I contacted ****, Senior Sales Manager, on April 9th, 2024 to inform him that the salon chair I had purchased from him was defective. Specifically, the footrest would not stay in place due to a part on the bottom of the chair falling apart. **** requested that I provide a receipt and the date that I had purchased the chair. After providing the requested information, including the September 16, 2021 purchase date, **** responded to say that the chairs I bought were no longer covered under warranty.Prior to making my purchase from ****, we had spoken on multiple occasions and he had assured me that the equipment was of high quality and backed by a five-year warranty. These assurances were also noted on their website and in personal emails. However, it now appears that this warranty was simply a tactic to entice customers without any intention of honoring it.Sadly, the company seems to rely on customers being unable to produce receipts after a few years have passed, allowing them to avoid honoring their supposed warranty. This lack of honesty is particularly concerning, as the warranty was a major consideration in my decision to purchase from them.

      We have informed the customer that when someone broke off the footrest after having the chair for almost 4yrs is not covered under warranty. Its a wear and tear item and is not covered under warranty, when a customer stepped on it with there full weight. A foot rest is designed to hold the customers feet when they are sitting in the chair, but not to step fully on them. We have these chairs in shops all over the country pushing 10years if sued properly and not miss used. Thank You

      On March 25, 2024 I purchased a ring light from this company for $150.00 I immediately received an email receipt with an order number. That was the last I have heard from this company. I have sent at least 5 emails asking about the shipping info and no one replies. I called them yesterday and the guy who answered was very short with me and when I told him that I still havent received any info about my order and asked him to look it up, he kind of babbled a bit like he was trying to find an excuse and then he just said that the electricians were there fixing something so he didnt have any electricity to look anything up. I asked him if he had a laptop, iPhone or wireless internet since professionals always have a back up to do business if these things happen and he said Just call back tomorrow and hung up on me. I decided to check out their social media only to find out that this company has done this to others. Took their money and never contacted them again and never sent the item ordered. I want my $150 refunded to me so I can find a legitimate company that wont steal from me.

      I apologize for the delay that took place with responding to you, but we checked and promise that you were never charged for this order at all. It was never submitted and finalized do to the move and electrical issues we have went thru here. Once again we here at Salon Equipment Center apologize for this long and annoying experience and are willing to give you a nice discount if you come back to us. You can call your bank and make sure and be certain that we have never charged you for this! Sorry again and we look forward to doing business with you in the near future!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      They did charge me the $150 on March 25. Right after my complaint to BBB, it disappeared from my account BUT I WAS NEVER REFUNDED THE MONEY! They never credited my bank. I have sent numerous emails and still nothing from them. I want my $150 back TODAY!

      I called this company accidentally (I was working with another company, called this one by mistake and they pretended to be the original company). Once I realized the mistake, I cancelled the order. I was charged a processing fee as well as the employee submitting the finance documents. I never received any product, cancelled the order, never received any delivery notice or attempted delivery notice. I've been charged over $3000 for something I cancelled and don't have. I complained to ********** as well but they only said they'd "add notes to my file"I have to close my bank account to stop the payment and now I have to hire an attorney to recover the payments

      Customer made an order for Pedicure Spas, they were a custom order that needs to be build out for him. CUSTOM ORDERS are not REFUNDABLE (this is on our websites policy and rules page), and he was told that as well..... about 2-3 weeks of placing the order he said he wants to cancel the order. We tried to reach out to him to explain that this is a custom order that cant be RETURNED or CANCELLED, he kept saying that he doesnt care and doesnt want to do business with us. CUSTOM ORDERS are not refundable !!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This order was cancelled well in advance. This vendor considers EVERY ORDER to be custom in order to refuse cancellations. *See similar BBB complaints. 

      The vendor did not "try to communicate" but only argued that an order can't be cancelled. 

      Even though the order was cancelled, the vendor still submitted the documents to the leasing company, who paid him for the cancelled order. 

      I have never received any product, and per the vendors own contract, the merchandise must be delivered and inspected. Per the vendor, the product was not delivered. I never received any notice of any pending delivery or attempted delivery. 

      Basically, I cancelled the order in advance, it's not a custom order and was never described as a custom order but the vender intentionally submitted it for financing and kept the product. This is theft.
