We ordered windows w/ Velimir on 8/16 w/ promises of installation in early Oct. Oct came & went & long story short we were told "two more weeks" 4x. We continued to get the run around with and fed up and w/o answers, we called ****** directly but they weren't able to look anything up without an order number. A few weeks ago, we asked ******* for our order # from ******. When we requested the order # from Velimir-we were told that was against company policy to give that out. We ended up calling ****** Windows back & they put us into contact with a field rep for ****** who tracked down the original quote. Turns out the order was never even placed, that's why there was no order #. We reached out multiple times to get a status on our windows & at no time did Velimir take the time to check on the status or verify the order had been placed. Would we have found out this information if we ourselves had not been proactive? ******* claims his rep never placed the order, but for numerous reasons that I won't disclose, we know that is not accurate. On 12/6, after ******* offered us a discount, we said we weren't comfortable moving forward and asked for our money back. I'm writing this review 8 days after we were told that we would get our money back, nothing yet. ******* told us that if we did not get the check by midweek, he would personally meet us and deliver a check. The owner has since declined to do that and said "check is in the mail". When we asked for confirmation, he said "I am giving you verbal confirmation". When I asked for tracking info, he said it was dropped off in a standard mailbox. When we asked who dropped off the check, he said he "didn't know, someone did". From what we can tell, ******* is the only point of contact for this company, the virtual assistant doesn't have any intimate knowledge of what's going on and there is no one else to speak to when you run into a problem. Proceed with great caution with Elevate Windows.
