I am a student at verve and I feel like I am being discriminated against. I have put $23,000 into this school and had to turn around and pay almost $800 to make days while other students were absent and missed beyond 24 hrs allowed has no obligation. I was out for Covid 5 days with doctors order and I was told by previous coordinator that I didnt have to make up the days they are excused with an doctors order, another student that actually gave me the Covid got hers excused and she did not have to make up days. I cant understand why students are treated differently when we are taking our time and money. Seems like only policy occurs to certain student which is discrimination and that is not legal. No students should have to feel like that. I would hard just like other students and I didnt pick this school to be treated differently than others. Its saddening how things are going in this place and its no one where to go for help or clarity without being mistreated or judged. The fact that our class was supposed to end in May and was extended to months because we didnt have a teacher the school could have been understanding and excused days we been in this one class 9 months but that seem to have only be accepted for one student. I am so upset that I am being treated the way that I am but I am a very strong believer in God. This is not right and its pure discrimination.Initial Complaint

We are paying *** school $10,000 a semester and *** who class is not going to labs, we do not have a syllabus, *** lessons are not in alignment with *** test, we are not learning anything for *** amount of money that we are spending.Initial Complaint

There has been an unnecessary delay with me sitting for the ******PN. The first issue was my application sitting at the school for 3 weeks. They said it was missing a signature in which the person who help with my application reviewed it before I left and said everything was fine. What bothered me most was for 3 weeks no one contacted to say my application was there. After getting that straightened out I emailed Verve to let them know Continental had received my application, no one replied but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I waited 2 weeks for correspondence from ******* Vue, and received NOTHING! Figuring something wasnt right, I called ******* and was told the school NEVER made payment! Called the school and was told I needed to give MY PERSONAL LOGIN information to my ******* account so they can pay. I did so, only to wake up two days later to a ****** text from the school now claiming that in order to process my file to sit for NCLEX I need to send a CPR card and proof of NSO insurance, why? I am not a student, nor am I currently practicing as a nurse, nor is that a requirement of the State of ******** to sit for boards! *******, which is the wife as the owner acts as administrator and trust me when I say theres no speaking with her personally to have issues as such resolved (she avoids students). Even if shes CCd in an email no matter how serious she will not respond with assistance cause she nor the owner (her husband) care. They used to be PCCTI, and changed to Verve College. Different name same unethical behavior towards students and employees check ****** and Yelp reviews. This school is all about money, teachers and office staff are a revolving door. I want my registration fee paid immediately so that I can move on with my life, and my career! I am unable to accept any of the many job offers for LPN position cause I dont have my license. Its long overdue. Ill be consulting with an attorney as well!
