In October 2021 my daughter scheduled an appointment for me to get a memorial tattoo. My husband had recently passed. They required a non refundable $100 deposit, which I paid and still have the receipt. The woman who was supposed to do my tattoo called me several times to reschedule because they had scheduled ME on her off day. When we finally agreed upon a date, I went in and was told because my license had expired they couldn't do the tattoo. A valid ID is "required".I explained to her, why it had expired, due to Covid-19 and because of my severe arthritis it's difficult for me to walk far or stand in lines. I explained that I didn't know when I would be able to go get a new license because, I need someone to drive me.She at that point told me that my deposit wouldn't expire, that when I get my license I could schedule a new appointment. I called tonight and was told that my deposit had "EXPIRED". He couldn't explain to my satisfaction how that is possible.I'm not asking for a refund and asking that my $100 deposit be honored.No one ever mentioned to me that there is a 24 expiration on deposits.
