I moved out of this apartment in September 20 20. As you can see by the email correspondence that I had with *****, there seemed to be no indication that there was any sort of debt remaining on my account. 2 1/2 years later, I receive a letter stating that I owe $309. I called the office and the lady who picked up told me that ****** (Guena) is not available but she would call me later. I also sent an email to them, and I did not get a response. I assumed that this was a scam. I looked at my credit report, and my credit score dropped by 25 points. My fiancs credit score dropped by 31 points.Initial Complaint

My husband and I moved into the Arden of Oakbrook (Lakeside) in June 2022. Unfortunately we have had a lot of issues since our move into the building. We were told before signing the lease that there were no AirBnB properties any longer at the building, this is simply not true there are people coming and going at all hours of the day and night with luggage leaving outside doors open. Its very scary and unsafe feeling. They also generally disrespect the property. Garbage and food is left on the trash room floor instead of using the chute and there are bugs as a result. They use all of the parking spaces leaving little to no room for residents who need to park all the way on the other side of the building. We have filed numerous work orders and emailed the property many times asking them to make the repairs we listed on our move in checklist (which was submitted at the beginning of July its now October and nothing has been fixed). Everytime we try to stop by the office is closed and no one answers phone calls, voicemails or emails. My husband and I are very frustrated, we pay our rent on time every month and are good tenants and it feels like this building and management company is a scam!
