April 21, 2024. I was in the car wash. At the end of the conveyor the car in front of me could not put his car in drive and pull away. The conveyor pushed me into the rear of that car. Had someone been watching, or if there had been a failsafe that the conveyor would not continue if a car had not pulled off the belt at the end, it would have prevented car number 3 from hitting me and car number 4 from hitting that car. We all went in and filed incident reports. The car in front of me, their insurance company is taking 80% responsibility for the repair of my car but they and I feel that the car wash should have automatically shut off or an attendant paying attention could have shut off the conveyor before the third and fourth cars became involved. I have called the customer service number numerous times, I went into the car wash and videoed the attendant telling me they have no obligation to tell me their insurance company's name so I have no remedy with them at this time to get the remaining 20% of my car repaired. There is a video available, and I do have pictures of my car and I have a video of the interaction when I went into the car wash to inquire of their insurance company to file a claim.They are saying since the first car took responsibility they are not liable at all. I believe it is their insurance company that should make that call. I was assured someone would call me back. No one has, even though *************************** says he has. I have phone records to prove how many calls I made and if any calls were made to me. Again, I also have video of me requesting insurance information.
