Can you please help me obtain a final invoice from Buffalo Roofing,Total of project: $13,671.79 Deposit amount: $8,000already paid Payment due day of service: $688.70already paid Final payment: $4,983.09 + supplements Ive reached out numerous times. They advised me theyve submitted to my insurance(this was without my knowledge) the supplements. And theyre waiting to hear back. *** realizedthey then can see an amount on a check the insurance sends out. They then can adjust the supplement amount accordingly. This is to take the full amount of the insurance check. The work was completed on May 8, 2024. With all the work completed now for weeks and all costs known. Why would a bill not be readily available for a customeruntil they see an amount on an insurance check?Ive spoken with other roofing companies. They advise me that a customer usually receives their final invoicea week to ten days after work is completed.Please Help!Business response

We have repeatedly reached out to Vicik by phone, text and email. We have asked for a phone conversation but he has not called us back. We have left him detailed responses to his questions on email and voicemail. We have told him we cannot give him the final bill until we have the final insurance carrier (State Farm) estimate. He won't give it to us so we are at a standstill. Note he is NOT unhappy with any facet of our work, only the fact that we have not given him the final invoice. He wants to pay us and we want to be paid.....so thats good...but he is trying to pocket money from the insurance claim which is illegal. If he gives us the paperwork from the insurance company we could have this entire matter settled in a manner of hours. When a client refuses to pick up the phone and have an adult conversation with me, there is not much I can do.

***********************This business is suggesting Im stealing money. When I was informed through my insurance carrierthats not the case. I was informed from other roofing companies. That they do not talk to the customers insurancethe customer does. This ********************** company reached out to my insurance company without my knowledge or being informed of. I was informed from other roofing companiesthat a customer receives their final bill within 7-10 days after work is completed. Its been upwards of a month and I still havent received mine. One would believe all costs should be in after a month. And not after calculating the amount on an insurance checkwould a final invoice be available.
Ive been apologized by other roofing companiesfor having to go through this.
I was never informed of any Supplements as they became available. The only Supplement I was ever made aware ofwas Permit Costs. Buffalo Roofing submitted Supplements to my insurance company without my prior knowledge of what they are. And why theyre being submitted. Then after the fact Im being made aware of Supplements that were submitted to my insurance carrier unbeknownst to me. Buffalo Roofing then advises me that were waiting to see what the amount of that check is forregarding the insurance carriers coverage on the Supplements . Then Im being told from Buffalo Roofing that Im stealing money.
The question Ive asked myself due to all the secrecy that I was never apart ofwhere all these Supplements needed and used? As a customer spending the amount of money that you are regarding a new roof. You wanna know everything from start to completion. Unfortunately I was not.
