A metal roof was put on my home a few years ago. They had to come out the following year and replace the skylights that were leaking all over that were improperly installed. Then I started to continue to have leaks around the skylight. Then I discovered my hot water heater was covered in water because it was dripping in from the roof around the hot water heater vent. Then I discovered that my furnace Had a big hole up around the ceiling that they never even closed off when they put in the new furnace stack with the new roof. They were contacted multiple times came out and didnt resolve any of the problems and here I ******* looking at wet drywall from my skylight in the kitchen water dripping down in to my hot water heater From the vent pipe and after three years and multiple attempts, I have gotten zero resolution, and all I can figure out along with a friend who is a roofer is that water is going underneath the metal roof from the ridge cap that was improperly done also and apparently the items are not sealed underneath the metal roof at the house roof level to prevent things from leaking in if water gets under the metal roof it has been a mess and a nightmare for over three years now the business in ****** ******** has closed and only the main one is still open in *********** *********. This roof cost me $5500 and I have more problems than I had prior to the roof replacement that I was just trying to be proactive and have done before I did have problems.
