I found this company on ******** market place. They quoted a price of $390 and we paid with a check when no receipt or paper with warranty was being provided. We were told the owner would email us, which he did not because he didn't have our email. When the tub was wet it looked fine. We were told to wait 24 hours before touching the tub. After, shutting the door so nothing could touch the tub, we inspected it closer. The top of the top is glossy and smooth. Towards the bottom of the tub there are huge drips, runs, and white run lines in the grey reglazing. Where the bottom and sides meet of the tub, the glazing did not meet leaving a much thinner layer of coating that is very noticable. They said they would come to fix it on Friday. Then, they offered to redo the glaze in white which does not go with our grey tile or grey fixtures. After that exchange, we never heard back from them again. I posted photos of the tub on their ******** account, so I was blocked. I had the business info on the check and can see their phone number on a bunch of different named businesses- including White Tub Refinishing company. It's as if this company goes by many different names of businesses. I found them under Odorless Bathtub Refinishing. I see the same phone number and address under Crocodile Company (which has the same address as Marker MB, *** who we wrote the $390 check too), white tub refinishing company, **************** refinishing and possibly Eco tub restoration.Initial Complaint

I found the business through an ad on ******** Marketplace. I messaged them through Messenger for a quote and asked many questions about how they reglaze tubs. All the answers seemed legitimate. The provided the service on Tuesday May 24th 2022. The technician didn't speak, didn't explain anything, just locked himself in my bathroom and began work. When he finished he came out, said nothing, and started to pack up to leave. I went to check the tub and pointed out specks and bumps throughout that he said would even out as the glaze settled. I asked for an invoice and he said the owner would send me one, then he left. 5 minutes later the owner message dme asking for payment via Zelle. I asked for an invoice and a receipt and their 5 year warranty in writing which he said he would send me all after payment. I sent the money via Zelle and I have not received any of it.I left the house and came back a couple of hours later. I checked the tub and the glaz had not gotten smoother, the specks were still there and in addition it also became lumpy and wavy in the middle of the bottom of the tub. The worst part was that the glaze spread over the metal rim of my drain, coating it in paint. I immediately took a photo and sent it to the owner showing him what happened, however I was unable to send a message through Messenger, there was a note saying "This page is unavailable on Messenger". I called the number but it goes straight to an inoperable voicemail. I texted and did not get a response until 4 hours later. He blamed it on heat in the bathroom which is silly. We set a time for them to come back Friday May 27th to fix it. I tried to reschedule the appointment that morning as work conflict arose but I was not able to reach anyone and got no response. They never came. I have since been unable to reach them or get any response. Bathtub is still messed up and I have no receipt, invoice or warranty.
