      I had ordered flooring in late March early April to be delivered to our home on April 25th. Flooring was delivered and was not what we thought we ordered. The company was notified immediately. Total charge to our account was $1564.00. I had been going through chemo during the time of the order and refused the delivery as the flooring was then taken back to the store/warehouse. To date I have not received our refund back even after numerous phone calls and e-mails stating that the refund would greatly help my medical bills due my chemo and other hospital stays. This has gone on long enough as my e-mails and phone calls are not being returned.

      I found a hardwood floor company in ********, ********, called Ellegant Home Design. We made an order on May 29 and the cost was $17798. They gave me their bank account info and I wire transferred the amount. We have the receipt and we have the wire transfer document.The plan was to receive the hardwood floor on June 23 guaranteed. They never delivered the product and never gave us an estimate date for delivery. So I called them to cancel the order, they said no problem we will cancel the order and give you a full refund. That was end of June 2023. They said they will mail a refund check soon.4 weeks later they stopped answering their phone on 7/24. They also stopped replying to their email. After we threatened to call the *** in one of the emails the guy called my husband back 20 minutes later and he tells him I am the co-owner. My wife is the other co-owner. My wife have been taking orders for MONTHS and not delivering any products because they just wanted to take peoples money and eventually file for bankruptcy. I will see what I can do after I sell the building and we own cars. I have been telling my wife and ***** not to do that for months but she is a bad person. He refused to give us her number.Earlier this week my husband called him to ask if he has any news and asked him to explain to him how he would let his wife steal other peoples money and not notify the authorities. He said I dont think this is stealing. You might call it fraud but not stealing. Lawyer is on the case now an it is going to take time.The company is Ellegant Home Design and the two owners names are:******************, the wife from what we have been told.*************, the other co-owner (husband). I have his cell phone number.*********************************** was the employee and he was the one along with ****** talking to us on the phone when we ordered and we canceled.

      I was lied to about the delivery date and paid $400 to have my items ship to me. They sent the items the slowest way to make money off me. They state the item would be her last week and I got a email that I might get it Thursday. I want $200 of my delivery fee back. In the process of trying to go get the items myself.

      This customer called and ordered this on the 12th and I told her it takes ***** hours to process and that I will schedule the shipment. I advised the customer that we will have tracking along the way which she did have. The flooring was scheduled for pick up at Florstar on the 18th the carrier showed up on the ***************************************************** the loop the whole time. The customer called last week Friday after I was gone for the day already and Spoke to ***** ( below is an email with ***** and the customer When ***** provided the customer with a tracking link and the tracking link showed she was not getting her flooring till 10/31 and that's when the customer freaked out. ***** advised the customer that I will be back to work on Saturday, the first thing I did was called the customer on Saturday morning and tell them that I am working on it and that I need to get ahold of someone on Monday the next working business day when they are open. The first thing I did THIS morning is called the carrier myself to figure out what was going on. I spoke to the manager at ***** Express and he said the driver was out for delivery this afternoon.  I tried to call the customer today and left a message but she always has problems with her phone and email I also emailed I did not and would not promise anyone a guaranteed delivery date but in all reality, she wrote this review thinking that she will not get her flooring till the 31st of this month, she would not even give me a chance to figure it out as I told them I would.  Even with some minor shipping issues that I have no control over she received her flooring 7 working business days.


      Makes me really sad that she thinks we ripped her off or that she got bad service in any way when I gave her the flooring at **** per sqft and passed on the special pricing to them for ONLY 13 boxes as a Thank you for their service since her husband served in the military. The price for this floor on our website is $5.51 per sqft in my eyes that is not someone that just trying to make money off someone. That is someone treating you kindly.

      I'm not sure what transpired here.  So many times we are at the mercy of what these freight companies quote us for estimated time frames.  We are just messengers of information.  


      I didn't understand that open delivery window on their website.  It was very odd to me. 



      How far is ************* from your residence?  Is that fairly close?  The freight carrier could be calling you very soon to schedule the final delivery!  


      You didn't receive any unknown calls by chance, did you?  Sometimes, these carriers don't leave voicemails and try to get customers live on the phone.


      We will do everything in our power to assist you with this matter!  **** will be back working in the office tomorrow.
