I filed a complaint earlier today and realized it was towards a dealership and not corporation. I need to amend my filing, towards **** corporation.I bought my vehicle March 2019. It is a **** escape. My vehicle currently is in the shop with a blown engine due to a recall that **** put out and did not notify me I have always taken my vehicle into **** dealerships for service. And **** sent out a notice in December ***************************************************************************************** April 2022 I took my vehicle in to get it fixed because of engine not running properly and compression issues. The dealership said they fixed it sent me on my way. By October 2022 my vehicle is no longer running. I have just got it into the dealership. To find out what was wrong and they told me that **** had a recall and they would pay for partial problem of the engine. **** corporation has told me it is my responsibility to cover the rest which is about $2600. **** has known about this problem and what it would do to the engine, but yet nothing was ever said I have been in without a vehicle since October 2022. The vehicle only has ****** miles on it maintenance done regularly and now I have no vehicle and **** says there is nothing they can do about it. I have been speaking with **** for over six months trying to find out whats wrong with my vehicle. Now that they know they are not doing anything about it except for replacing the parts that was in the recall even though it ruined the rest of my engine and they expect me to pay for it. I think **** should buy back my vehicle or put me in something else, I have made my payments and I am paying for a vehicle. I cannot use they will not even give me a loaner until the vehicle can be repaired or the problem can be solved. It was **** corporation who said I should file a complaint with a better business bureau .

We had problems with our **** Fusion with smoking out of tail pipe and other mechanical failures. Last year we took the car back to the *********************** dealership with the issues. After diagnostics and other evaluations, we were told we needed a new motor. It was smoking like it was on fire when we picked it up. We asked did they put a new motor in and we was told that **** Corporation wanted to put different parts on the car instead of a new motor. The countless times our car motor was torn down because **** Corporation refuse to live up to the warranty contract. We paid for an extended warranty on the car during the purchase of the vehicle. Called **** Consumer affairs thinking they are for the customers and they are not. At that time, it was Mrs. ***** with **** Corporation. It's sad to work and get paid to damage other people lives. We have our paperwork for the time the vehicle was in the shop. Because our problems wasn't solved at *********************** Mrs. ***** recommended that we get a second opinion. She found the dealership and scheduled the appointment. Took the car for the smoking and jerking in which was new because they kept going into the motor. After evaluations and diagnostic, we are told a second time we need a motor and they had ordered the motor. Someone from **** Corporation called asked me about what my second opinion was and I said a new motor. The next day ****** from *********** called stating someone from **** Corporation sent out several emails and I needed to bring the car back for another evaluation. I take the car back. These people from *********** calls me back and states we didn't find anything wrong with your vehicle. They are liars. **** Corporation can put a new motor in the vehicle or give us a new vehicle. Derran with consumer affairs have refused to reach out to the contact information I gave him.**** Corporation has breach their warranty contract and put their consumers unnecessary grief. ********************* (CAS-37123416-D1B0M8)
