We took our adult son to palos hospital in palos heights il 2 times because he was very sick. The emergency room twice said it's just a flu and take Tylenol. He got worse. We took him to ****** hospital in ******** il. They said he had double pneumonia and admitted him for 5 days. Palos almost killed him.

Worst hospital ever my grandpa was a healthy 82 year old who went in to get gallbladder surgery by ******************** MD to start off the hospital nurses were rude and racist!!!! The hospitalists were the most negligent people Ive ever met I wasnt able to access his test results nor anything they did to him through his MyChart they tortured my grandpa for 10 days until he took his last breath everything they did that was supposed to help my grandpa according to them just caused him to go septic a week after his surgery than we were told he couldnt eat due to also having aspiration pneumonia we never seen no improvement just procedure after procedure until they caused my grandpas organs to fail than they had the audacity to tell my grandpa he was going to die strait to his face!! Please no one ever take a loved one to this place unless you want them tortured and killed I dont know how this place is still open and I know this review wont bring my grandpa back but I hope this helps someone avoid doing the same mistake I did by taking my grandpa to this place

Horrible, was assaulted by ER tech! She ripped all my EKG strings all at once! With a fast swooping movement. She did it to me because I was complaining. I have been going there for 18 years for my son, and me, maybe 1x every 3-5 years. Always the same, you wait and get ostracized for complaining, they also misdiagnosed my 2-year-old son with pneumonia when he had an ear infection. Palos is just horrible, was twice in ***********- different experience, fast, no misdiagnosis, respectful. Go to *********** instead, they have more stars and I know why.

I WAS THERE MONDAY 8/14/23 NOON TILL 9 PM!I HAD RIGHT LOWER ABDOMINAL SEVERE PAIN!THEY DID BLOOD WORK, TOOK A URINE SAMPLE AND PERFORMED A CT SCAN AND TOLD ME EVERYTHING IS NORMAL NO SIGNS OF INFECTION OR ANYTHING! THEY TOLD ME I HAVE TO SEE A GASTROENTEROLOGY SPECIALIST!I HAVE ALL THE PAPERWORK FROM BOTH ER'S AS PROOF WEDNESDAY 8/16/23 MORNING I WOKE UP WITH THE SAME PAIN I WENT TO SILVER CROSS EMERGENCY AND THEY DID THE SAME TESTS AS ABOVE AND FOUND THAT I HAVE A BAD UTI WHICH CAUSED INFECTION IN MY BLADDER AND FOUND BLOOD IN MY URINE!THERES NO WAY PALOS ( ************)HOSPITAL DIDNT SEE THAT!IM GOING TO THE HOSPITAL TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!ANY INFECTION COULD LEAD TO WORSE THINGS!EVEN DEATH SOMETIMES!PALOS (************) HOSPITAL ALMOST GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT MY WELL BEING!I WANT SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME FROM THERE!I WANT A SOLUTION

**** in ******* is absolutely amazing. She works very hard to get you the help you need and her group sessions are always insightful.

Went to ER with my knee in a brace attempting to get some relief. Called ahead of time asking if they can draw some of the fluid out, maybe ********* shot. I was informed that yes they have the capability but it was up to the doctor. I got in right away not busy at all, maybe people have read the awful reviews and went elsewhere. So when I was waiting to see the doctor in the room nobody ever asked me about pain, usually they ask to rate the pain etc. Doctor ordered an x-ray and then came in to talk. He told me that the x-ray wouldn't show anything because it only shows fractures. He told me that my extremely swollen knee was probably a tear and that I would need an MRI. I had an appointment scheduled to see my doctor but it was in a month. He told me that attempting to drain the knee could cause an infection. Isn't there always a chance of infection when using needles? Unnecessary x-ray was negative as he predicted and so he just gave me a huge brace to wrap up my knee and crutches a left. I waited to talk to him but he wouldn't come back. Refused to give me anything for the pain and as I write this review it's very painful. They basically did absolutely nothing and rang up charges to my insurance. I can only imagine what they charged for the x-ray, consultation and brace with crutches. All ***************** did was cover his a** and run up a bill. I don't ever get "high" from Hydrocodone and I understand their hesitation to write the script but this was what the pain med was designed for. Absolute waste of a medical license.

I was sent to the hospital when I was seen at urgent aid. They wanted to call for ambulance said I shouldn't drive. The urgent aid called in advance to ER so I wouldn't have to wait. Unbelievable experience. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Can there be a 0 starts ?! Today I experienced the worse patient service in an emergency room Worse ER Ive even been to I dont recommend it to any I am going to report what happened to their HR and to who ever can help me with my situation

The absolute worst experience to ever be had an ER!!!!! This is the most inattentive, lazy, and worthless staff of professionals I have ever encountered. Waiting room is a mess. I wish I could give negative stars as this is an embarrassment to the medical profession and ************. I cannot believe these people can be called doctors and seriously doubt they even have medical degrees at all. THE MOST DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF MEDICAL PRACTICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE!!! I will gladly admit that my name is *********************** currently sitting in this shithole of a waiting room with a bone infection in my back and have still not be seenafter 7 hours in the waiting room. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING TO DIE. I cannot wait to report this entire place, staff, and organization to the Better Business Bureau.

VERY WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. BACK IN 2019, I BROKE MY HUMERUS BONE RIGHT ARM IN 3 PLACES, CRIED THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE, NO ONE CARED. GOT THERE AT 6PM FRIDAY EVENING JANUARY 11TH 2019, WAITED AND WAITED, FINALLY A DOCTOR COMES IN FOR EXACTLY 1 MINUTE, LEFT I GOT XRAY AND THE NURSE SHOWED ME THE **** NOT THE DOCTOR, HAD 3 BREAKS IN MY HUMERUS BONE, NOW THE NURSE COULD UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS CRYING, HOWEVER SAT THERE FOR MORE HOURS, FOR THEM TO PUT A SLING ON MY ARM AND SEND ME HOME, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, THIS INJURY WAS THE WORST PAIN I HAVE EVER FELT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, THE DOCTOR WAS NEVER SEEN AGAIN, SENT ME HOME WITH PAIN MEDICINE AND SAID GO SEE A SURGEION, THEN I GET THE **** FROM THIS JOKE OF A DOCTOR FOR $ ********, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, FOR 1 MINUTE TALKING TO ME, I WAS SENT TO COLLECTION AND WHEN I RECIEVED THE CALL ABOUT THE **** I TOLD THE GUY TO BASICALLY GO S**** HIMSELF. THE HOSPITAL ER IS THE BIGGEST JOKE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED, WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK THERE, ****** HOSPITAL ONLY.
