Mold on the bathroom ceiling broken furniture dirty waste baskets bugs on the window sill exposed electrical wires and the first two rooms they offered me one had beer bottles all over the room and dirty towels and the other room was freezing and no bedding dirty scummy counters and there was no manager on the premises the whole week and all the corporate office numbers were disconnectedInitial Complaint

I purchased a disability room because my hip problems and falling issues and my blood pressure issues i need help standing at times and the room i had was infested with ants i told the front desk and she did move me for the ants being all in my room to a standardized room which didn't have the assistance i needed for my health i told the front desk she said i gave u another room if i have a issue in the morning talk to manager and sent me away i went in my bag to get some clothes and my new room had ANTS they were in my luggage on my undergarments WOW i have pictures and videos and all i want is a apology and compensation for the lack of empathy for my health I couldn't even wash up because i need help standing and I feel like the front desk lady was just rude and didn't want to take the time to look and see the infestation in the rooms she gave me ans the housekeeping told the lady its 2 more rooms that were infested and the front desk person told her to be quiet and sent her on her way I am disappointed and want a resolution and I can provide videos and pictures for added evidence.Initial Complaint

I stayed at this hotel from March 14 to August 7 2021. I was told that the hotel was overbooked and that we had to checkout when I attempted to renew another week here on August 4. A former employee told me that that the owner, **** ******, does this to make long term guests go away. I never caused any trouble or had any payments declined. Despite this, I was charged for a week stay about 1 week after I had checked out which was fraudulent as I didn't authorize this charge and was not even on the property for a week. I contacted my bank and had that charge reversed. I contacted **** and his wife via text message to reverse that unauthorized charge, refund my deposit and my first months taxes on the room. I to this day have not had my $50 deposit refunded or the first months of taxes. Which is a Violation of Illinois Law. I contacted him several days later on the phone (after the text message) in which he stated that he received the message from his wife and was going to refund the unauthorized charge, the deposit, and the first months taxes. The taxes and the deposit were never received. I even contacted the corporate office and they contacted the hotel and then came back telling me that everything was refunded when in reality it was not. Scammers like **** need to be thrown in Jail for trying to take people's money behind their back. Especially when I have paid over $5000 to this business.
