I received a proposal (quote #152) from Jamie on 4/28/21 to paint the exterior of my home. I accepted the quote but Jamie was unable to get to the project that year before the weather got too cold; so during the winter months I asked if he would like to quote some of my interior jobs. He did. On 2/9/22 I received a proposal (quote #172) for work in my pantry, kitchen, and living room. I decided to move forward with the pantry which was quoted at $380 + materials. The final invoice (labor and materials) came to $367.47 dated 2/22/22 which I paid with check #7381 and mailed on 2/28/22. He then texted me on 3/28/22 and said he could do the living room the following week and at that time I texted him about an area in the pantry that was not completed as we discussed and he verbally told me he'd repair it and has never done so to-date. The Living room (quoted at $660 and invoiced $727.71 which I paid even though there are several missed spots there but decided to be kind and "overlook" them. He then worked on the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room quoted at total $1990 but invoice and I paid $3715.82 ($2436.44 which was for a tiny bathroom and a small laundry room), The ceiling in the bathroom still has a hole in it that he refuses to come and fix, there is a crack in the laundry room wall, there is bubbling paint in the bathroom, there is no trim in the bathroom, laundry, or kitchen but I paid for it to be painted? I have tried to get him to come look at and correct the pantry and bathroom areas with no luck - there are issues in the living room and laundry too. Then he painted the exterior of my home and it is not completed but he is demanding full payment of the job even though he cannot finish it until spring. He refuses to provide a punch list to me so we are all on the same page of what needs done to complete the project. He painted areas that should not have been so he wanted to bid the job to complete that work too. I am out of space but more remains.
