Brought 2 of my 5 dogs in to be groomed on Thursday February 15th and Feb 16 one puppy and Feb 20 - two Standard Poodles -I asked for prices up front- for my 24 pound Australian Cattle Dog and my 50 pound Cattle Doodle- was told we don’t give out prices. How about a ballpark price? The owner Danielle said, ‘ the groomer decides prices’ - we don’t have Set prices’. I even went to their business Facebook page - again no prices listed! She accepted my shot/vaccination paperwork for all five of my dogs and assured me when I came to pick up my two dogs - they would be in a ‘file’ and she would give them back to me. Upon coming back to pick up my dogs, the price was extremely high and when I asked why - she stated, ‘this is normal pricing’ She said the price was because my 24 pound Australian Cattle Dog sheds a lot? It’s the middle of winter here in ********. After I paid, she left immediately back to get the dogs one at a time, and bring them out. Pie (my Australian Cattle Dog) was $85!! She required a bath, ears and nails done! I was upset, but kept it to myself. Next she brought out Marshmallow and said his hair is really thin and I replied yes. And she said Have a great day! I left the shop and went home. No paperwork was handed back to me. The following day, I was supposed to bring my puppy, Cupcake in for her groom- but it snowed through the night and our farm’s driveway was impassable with drifts of snow across it. I called in to let them know, I did not get my dog’s paperwork back yesterday and we would Not be in today- due to weather- Danielle the owner said we charge half groomer fee upfront for not coming the day of- but since you are new- the cost will be $25 - Saturday Feb 17th, I texted Danielle to pick up my dogs vaccination records - she stated they, ‘Lost Them’ - my adult dogs- I can get copies of from the vet- but my puppy paperwork had stickers from the vials of the vaccinations given. Can’t be replaced! Very Unprofessional and Disorganized!
