In February 2022 I was approached by ****** ***** offering PR services. She insisted that payment via ***** would "save transaction fees". I wired $280 via ***** and never heard from her again. I've sent repeated emails with no reply. I've requested a refund. As you can clearly see from other reviews, this is what she does. I am unable to retrieve my money via ***** and so I'm seeking that the BBB please help in any way it can to prevent this person to continue defrauding small business owners. More detail in the review below. I am happy to forward emails if needed. Thank you. BBB Review: Mortified that I fell for this. A well-written email and a decent website covered in logos from legitimate media outlets goes a long way in making someone look legitimate. Unfortunately ****** *****, con-artist with numerous email addresses and websites to hide behind, took my money and vanished, just as she has with these other brands and businesses. I've reported this fraud to ********** ********* ******* (the host of *********************), and the FTC. I really hope they can put a stop to this. My money is not retrievable, which, for a small brand for whom every dollar spent on marketing is a dollar you sweat over and second guess, is really tragic. It's disgusting that people like this exist and probably somehow convince themselves they're not criminals sitting at a keyboard. Everyone who reads this, please do whatever you can to bring her scam to light so at least she won't continue getting away with this. ****** ***** of *********** *** ************************ contacted my businesses to offer her marketing and PR services. After speaking with her she seemed professional and legitimate and was very responsive to all our emails. She charged us $1200 after submitting a proposal for her services. We paid her half up front. She has not responded to any of our emails since we paid her the $600 fee on Jan 18th. After doing much research, we found that she has been scamming small businesses for years.
