            Date 7/14 Muffler repair at Midas shop **** **, bad job. Took back 3 days later. Requested refund. Was told I would not get one. Contacted district manager and corporate office. After several texts, pictures sent and receipt of new repair by another company was sent, they agreed to refund me my money. However they also wanted me to sign a release/settlement agreement when I went to pick up check. I have no problem releasing them of any liability, I will never return there for service of any kind again. This agreement contained a non-disparagement and confidentiality clause. I would not be able to tell anyone of my negative experience with this company. They would not provide me with a copy so an attorney could look over. I was told I would need to bring an attorney into the store to read it. The only way two get a copy was to sign it. I felt I was being strong armed by their managers into signing something I was not comfortable with. Filed credit card dispute on 8/4.
