The contractor did not complete work as promised. The contractor was paid in full in advance and left without refunding or completing the work. We are left with a kitchen that is not working. I would like the contractor to complete the project as promised.Business response

We were brought into this project by a designer we work with often, when we final started the project the homeowner was already complaining about the designer and how they felt they were mistreated by them also about cabinets, color of walls, floorings, etc, all of which was purchased by design team or homeowner, anything my company purchased, was always signed off on. The homeowners complained the entire time about how the didnt like the cabinets ( the product, not the install) and how the designer never listened.
We were working directly with the homeowner so this did not affect us. ****** went on to fire the designer, even after they signed off on all designs and products. We stayed on to finish the project. After multiple changes in cabinet design, we uninstalled and reinstalled cabinets multiple times, had to move walls and electrical for design miss measure or homeowner request, the homeowners decided to have us remove all the cabinets and dispose of. Then ordered cabinets from a 3rd party, not us, which the homeowner had problems with this company, home owner was rude and short and degrading, which they were often with us.... after the new set of cabinets arrived the homeowner refused deliver at which point I decided, that we are pretty much even, he actually owes me a few dollars, and their constant unhappiness, not with us but with design, see all text, that i could not deal with them any more. They were rude, ****** demanding and made my team feel uncomfortable, so I went to the village and pulled my permit and dropped them as a client
The homeowners received everything they paid for, besides a few small things which they were credited for , in fact he paid original contract in full because they knew we had so many extras rolling. I have attached many text, emails, both contracts, pictures and more than enough proof to show we fulfilled our end, I have more if needed. Thank you feel free to reach out with any questions. I have many picture of all completed work, i have attached my email firing them as clients, the original paid contact, the extras contact that has not been paid and a screeshot of my task manager app that we us on all job sites. again id be happy to provide any and all proof of no wrong doing
