On 8/7/23 I agreed to have Save Wood refinish (paint) the kitchen **************************** with the owner ***************************. On 9/7/23 he came & took the doors to be painted. About 2 weeks later an employee of his came to paint the cabinets frames. On 10/20/23 **** came to install the doors, he put up a few and my ******** inspected them. The workmanship was poor (at best). We told him we weren't happy & showed him where the original color was bleeding thru. At 1st he said he could touch them up but after showing him that the others also looked bad he said that that's the best we're gonna get, grabbed a door & left. I asked him what's going on, his response was we'll talk about it. My ******** have left numerous messages but he refuses to return our calls. From what we're read this is typical of him. We also found 1 door damaged.Initial Complaint

This is my second complaint with this company with BBB, Save Wood was to come to my house and touch up my cabinets on 9/7/22 based on the last agreement with BBB. No one showed up again so I left a message with Save **** on 9/7/22. The next day on 9/8/22 at 3:45pm a Tech name **** showed up, I showed him wan needed to be repaired, He stated if I wanted the repairs made the cabinet doors would need to be removed, the issue was the handles that were installed by Save **** was screwed on to tight and removed some of the paint. **** took pictures of the area of the cabinets that needed to be touched up. He stated he would talk to **** the owner and show the pictures and would get back to me. I have had no response again from this company. I have called and left messages on 9/12, 9/15 9/19, 9/21 and 9/27 with no return call, I needed these repairs made as I was promised. The total of the paint job was $5000.00, need this completed as promised many times. This company has been still advertising using the BBB logo is which is why I trusted this company to do a good job and stand behind their work, They do not communicate with me until I reach out to BBB for a resolution, how can this company use your logo in their current advertisement when they don't complete the job and never return any phone calls when you leave a message. Painting of cabinets was completed and paid in full on 3/11/21 per the attached invoice. Save Wood stated they would come back in a year to make any touch up to cabinets that were missed or any scratches in that time frame. Called Save Wood before the year guarantee and was given an appointment of April 4th, 2022. Unfortunately, I had to cancel this appointment due to a family issue that day and gave day notice in advance. I talked to **** the owner on the phone of Save Wood and he stated he would reschedule me in. I have not heard back from the Milke the owner since that time. I have been leaving weekly phone messages for them to call me back with no response. I have even gone directly to the business site twice and left my name and phone number for someone to call me back with no response. The first visit to the business site a worker on site stated they dont have a cell phone number to the Owner **** or the Salesmen *** that I dealt with. One of the workers stated that **** the owner was in an open office space at the end of their building to knock on the door he would answer. The person that answered the door stated his name was *** and that he owned the building and had nothing to do with Save Wood even though they had painted cabinet doors onsite that was being worked on. . The next visit to the business location I was again directed by one of the workers that **** the owner was in an open office space at the end of their building to knock on the door he would answer. The person that answered the door stated again his name was *** and that he owned the building, I asked for his last name, he just walked away from me stating he was very busy. My cabinets need to be touched an would like this to be completed as promised by Save Wood.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********** canceled the appointment in April and have reached out to Save Wood with no response until now 4 months later now to wait two more months for completion. I will accept the appointment for September 7th,please confirm a time for this appointment.
