I Paid Epoxy Worx owner ********************* $3335.00 for an epoxy floor in my basement. I have a Paid invoice and receipt which epoxy work emailed me after payment was made. After several trips out to do the work in stages, Epoxy Worx refused to complete the job offering no refund of any amount. The work performed was much less than average with many shortcuts used in the prep work which resulted in air bubbles, small rocks and debris in the epoxy coat. The reason for the work stoppage is due to the fact that ********************* himself knows the finished product will not look acceptable. The area to be completed was a total of 667 square feet which was a total of the two separate areas. As of 2/21/2024 the first area of 410 square feet had been started until ********************* decided to leave the job site. All of our discussions were captured on security cameras to validate my claim. The original quote was for $1650.00 to grind the concrete floor and repair cracks. I was then upsold on a vapor barrier and epoxy coat. I agreed to the new estimate of $3335.00 in which IO Paid in full. I am seeking a refund .The unfinished work along with what had been done so far was an absolute disaster. The material applied to 410 sq. feet will need to be removed and completely redone. I am a senior citizen with a wife with stage 5 Renal failure. We have been taken advantage of by this business.
