I had an extended warranty that I purchased through my bank- 2012 Honda CR-V. My car is driven and has very limited mileage on it. I took it to the shop because it makes a horrendous noise after I start it up but then it stops after I drive it. I called B&A and they accepted the warranty. I dropped it off on July 30th. They diagnosed the problem and said I ran low on oil, performed the oil change. He said he replaced a relay fuse regarding the horn. They didn't ask for my authorization before the oil change because the general maintenance requirements. I went there and paid for it then found my steering wheel was in the car seat. He put it back on and it still made that noise. He said since it ran low on oil, it will always make the noise. I was on the way to the bank and went to honk the horn and it didn't work. I paid $177 for the service I didn't authorize and the initial 2 problems are still there that I took the car there to be repaired. I am home 4 days a month because I am an over the road driver. This car came into their garage on warranty work which should not have been charged to me. I will pay for the oil change even though it was not authorized and would like a refund on the other services.Business response

yes the customer dropped it off first thing on a noisy engine to check oil it had 1 quart oil in it with a vvt engine this can ruin an engine . but we did the oil change like so many others we see with the same problem , and most generally the engine is ok . so we started it up the next morning and no sound was heard ., her next complaint is the horn stays on when she hits horn pad , i gave her an estimate for a horn relay (a fuse block assembly0 $521.00 FOR RELAY ASSEMBLY $110.00 FOR DIAGNOSTIME TIME AND $121.00 FOR REPLACEMENT TIME TOTAL TOTAL $793.68 TO GET HORN WORKING WHEN SHE SHOWED UP FOR PICK UP / YES THE HORN PAD WAS NOT ON THERE ! THAT WAS OUR MISTAKE NOT PUTTING IT BACK ON , I STARTED IT UP FOR HER AND THE NOISE CAME BACK AFTER IT SAT FOR SEVERAL DAYS I SAID TO HER I THOUGHT IT WAS FIXED BY GETTING THE CORRECT AMOUT OF OIL IN IT , CHE SAID IT ONLY HAD 500 MILES ON IT AND I WAS A LIAR I SAID TO HER WE NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM ON IT TO GET THEM TIMING COMPONENTS REPLACED UNDER HER WARRANTY I CALLED THE LAST PLACE SHE TOOK IT FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THEY SAIR 5,000 MILES AGO I CALLED HER TO TO TALK TO HER ABOUT WARRANTY AND LEFT A MESSAge but she didnt call me back , NOTE THE FIRST THING THE WARRANTY COMPANY SAYS DOES IT HAVE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF OIL IN IT ! SO I DIDNT CALL THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND TELL THEM IT WAS RAN 4 QUARTS LOW
