    On Oct. 10, 2021, I sent a check to Consolidated Fencing for 30% of the cost for 3 projects. On May 23, 2022, workers arrived and started work on Project 1 ***** ****. They were to remove existing wooden fence and replace with 5" chain link fence with a 4' gate. The opening left for the gate was less than 4' and a foreman came by so I could show him this did not match contract language. He questioned my choice of a 4' gate and then stated he didn't have time for this as he had to get to a big job in *******  May 27, 2022, ***** called and wanted to know why I was insisting on a 4' gate. I stated I am 82 and disabled and unable to push a mower so I need a rider and the one I was considering needed a 4' opening. He then asked "why am I just now hearing about a riding mower." He made me feel he had the right to decide whether or not I could have a 4' gate. He then stated it would have to be a 53" gate and I agreed to that. June 13, 2022, worker installed fence and gate. The open end of the gate is installed so it is in back of a post and it is impossible for the opening to be 48" - - Project 2 - ***** ***** to be installed, using new survey results/stakes from SE orner of house to ***** ******** at SE corner of yard. May 23, 2022: workers were digging post holes and I asked them to stop as rather than following the survey lines they were starting near the SE corner of the house and going at a diagonal towards the existing gate post that was one foot (12") inside the property line. June 13, 2022, workers came and (?) some of the post placements but the fence is still not on the property line.     From start to finish our experience was beyond poor. Our fence took a long time to come in which is why we ordered ahead of time. I would reach out to the company over and over again with no response or no one in the office would know any answers except for the owner who never called me back. I finally went out to the business where I still didn't get a clear answer of when our fence would be in or would be installed. When the fence was installed, we were missing 10 caps which I am not sure how you order 23 fence posts but only 13 caps? And the gates were scratched as if they were drug across concrete and poorly put together. We immediately notified the company and they attempted to wipe of the scratches with a cleaner and state that they were fine when the scratches were deep gouges. For the amount of money we were spending it was fair to ask for a "new" fence and not one that was cosmetically damaged. ***** seemed annoyed when we would called and ask for an update about the fence and always seemed annoyed with us that it was our fault the fence was poorly put together. It was a huge liability to have no gates or a partial fence when we have a swimming pool and children all in the area. This company also lied multiple times. For example, I received an email on stating the caps and gates would be in and done by the end of the week and after 2 weeks had passed by my husband called and they stated they were still on backorder. Another lie is when they came and removed our gates so they could remove the latches and place them on the new gates. No one notified us that they were doing that so once again our fence was open to the public which is another liability (especially since we have a 5 year old). We are getting ready to leave for ******* and have mentioned to them multiple times when we would be gone and that we were going to lock the gates (we were trying to time them doing work and us being gone) and now we have no gates to lock since they were removed. When I reached out to the company I was told they would be done by the end of the day which they were not. I would recommend going with another company as I wished we would have. It would save you a lot of headache.
