***** sent three movers to move us that did not know what they were doing. We were quoted $150 per hour and she charged us $225 per hour and charted us for material that was never used the movers damaged our property. when confronted , ***** refused to explain why she charged us a different price than she quoted and refused to let us see a bill. We authorized a $500 charge to our card. She then charged our card $710 two weeks after we had already paid . When asked for her documentation she said she would see us in court and hung up on. us.

      1.  Our movers are very professional and very good at what they do.  We move households and businesses everyday.

      2. They were quoted $51 per hour per man and $56 per hour for the truck and equipment.  Our rates are set by the state of Illinois and this is what we charge.  This is also what we tell people we are going to charge.  They were charged $209 per hour not $225 per hour.  We also charged them for the boxes we used to pack their TVs and misc. items.  Originally, we were supposed to move 8-10 large items, they were going to do all of the packing and they were going to move all of their boxes.  Our men ended up moving their entire household; refrigerator, large items, boxes and we packed their TVs and misc. items for them.  If the customer would like us to provide additional services, we can do so, but we charge for the services we provide.  Packing is additional, and this was explained to them during their move.  The driver actually had to come back to our warehouse to get boxes because we were not planning on packing their items for them.

      3. ***** explained all of the charges to them.  Reviewed their bill with them and emailed a copy of their bill.  We also called them multiple times regarding their bill and they did not return our calls.

      4. We bill for our services at the end of the move.  Their credit card was maxed out so we could not bill them for the amount they owed.  Only $500 of the $1,210 went through.  We called them repeatedly over the following weeks to collect the remaining balance.  They never called us back.  The final amount of $710 finally went through weeks after the move.  When the charges went through, both ***** and ***** called us; screaming and yelling, that if we don't give them their money back they will write bad reviews on the internet and will sue us.  We offered to go to court to resolve the matter.

      5. Our suggestion for people who do not want to move themselves and who do not want to pay movers to move them is to finds someone else besides us to move them.  Our prices are extremely reasonable.  We are not going to move people for free.  We expect to be paid for our services.  Also, threatening to write bad reviews online is not going to get you out of paying your bill.  Our moving services are top notch and have been since 1912; we expect to be paid for them.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

the price we were quoted did not match the price they charged us. they also charged us from 11:45am to 5:45 pm. They did not show up until 12:30. we had to call her to ask where they were because they were late. I never received a call from her regarding the invoice. we did pay the $250 deposit and then they charged us the day of the move $500 so that amount made sense to me. However she did charge us another $710 dollars two weeks later without us authorizing her to charge our card. the movers only moved 1 queen size bed, 2 twin beds,  4 TV's, 9 medium sized boxes , and one TV stand. This should not have taken the amount of time that they took. they stood around and talked alot and wasted a lot of time. We always pay our bills and it's not that we didn't want to pay someone for moving us. we paid what we were quoted and then they decided to charge us an extra $710 after the fact.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ****
