I brought my car in for 3 repairs - key stuck in emission, a/c would not blow out and replace headliner of my vehicle. Upon inspection, they did a myriad of tests, they found out that my power steering was leaking. I told them that it was the return hose. The problem is they took off my power steering pump and sent it off to be repaired. It is a 1986 Buick Grand National. It is unimaginable that the pump was leaking because I would not have been able to turn my wheel to drive it to their shop. I told the owner that I didn&#**;t have a whine in my car and the owner said it was bone dry. I told them I would not pay them for taking a part out of my car. My dad left me this car and it is a classic. When I asked him why he did that, he said well we are not a minimalist shop. Every time I challenged them, they came up with a different lie. They just keep lying. My concern is that all this money is paid, my car is still in pieces and afraid that they will take more things off my car. I tried to fix this over email and was redirected to 4 different people over 4 weeks. It&#**;s like a pyramid scheme. I talked to both owners and they keep passing me off. They refuse to communicate via email because they don&#**;t want to be held responsible for what is said over email. I want to be able to pick up my car because I have paid them over $1700 dollars approximately. I need them to give me all the parts to my car and to be able to pick up my car.

My car was in there shop from Feb-May 2021, I pre paid for services, and never received a plan. I also was charged on top of that prepayment of 7,000, and to find many billing mistakes, I had to consistently sort of with this company. I abruptly had to pull my car out of this shop in fear of being taken advantage of when the many billing issues were reacurring. I found many mark ups and aesthetic damages to my clear paint and paint from this company. They have not held any responsibility for these markups showing up on my car that were are a result of my car at there shop!

The consumer initially wrote her own plan.  Our policy is to write a company plan, with an estimate that the consumer signs off on as an approval.  We followed this protocol and can provide documentation for it.  She sent the payment of the $7000, then decided not to proceed.  We refunded her.  I can show that despite working 45 hours on the car before returning it, we only billed her 39 hours.  We document everything, with all of our customers, including this one.  We have many photos and video of the car before, during and after.  We will be providing documentation of our communication with this customer to the BBB.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
They did not address the drawings on my car? They keep ignoring this aesthetic damage to the clear paint. Also these drawings that were made on my car are very unsettling to have to process.

      Sincerely,

My car was at v8 tv shop from February 2021-end of May 2021. I have been trying to find resolve from the damages that occurred to my car while at there shop and also seeking to return a wire kit, I had purchased from them. I sent an email inquiring my concerns to V8tv on 8/14/21 and 8/25/21 and received no response. I also made a formal complaint with the BBB, and was advised to get an estimate of the damages that occurred to my car. I set out to get a estimate in January of 2022, and have just received the estimate of costs affiliated from my Insurance company today. The v8 shop has deflected any accountability of the damages and costs endured in rendering services from them. They advertise that the shop will be responsible for the damages that occur while at there shop under the shop insurance company policy. Unfortunately they have not honored that policy and have ignored and deflected any accountability. This company is very misleading and false advertising. They dont take the consumers special heirloom cars seriously or make sure they are on the same page as the customers that they advertise as well. The wire kit costs 1,296.82, I will gladly send it back to them for refund, as I have no use for it. The damages to my aesthetics calculated 2290.73 a total of $ 3,587.55 in damages costs endured.

As previously stated, there were no "drawings" on the car or damages.  We provided photos to show what was going on.  We consulted with consumer's insurance company and they agreed that these are incidental rub marks.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:my insurance company had provided this estimate to aide in recovering damages from the v8 tv shop. Regardless of the finger print marks or drawings marks arguments there is damage to my vehicle from this cause. I also have a wire kit that costs me 1,200+ that i would like to return back to v8 that they did not respond too.

      Sincerely,
