I was recently searching for a low income vet, and Happy Tails cane up - just as it had back in 2022 when I searched and found them. However, I also recently found a price sheet, that specifically indicated REDUCED COST for items. There was NO date on the sheet. I inquired, as I specifically ASKED for low income costs in June 2022, and Aug 2022. And was told no. Having recently inquired, I was asked WHERE I found that price sheet. I replied. I was answered with, THAT price sheet was not in use and a 2022 sheet was available on the website. Isn't that convenient?!!? My overcharged bill was 2022!!! By calculation of the reduced price rates on the sheet, I am OWED $812!!! But of course, now I'm being told prices changed in 2022, the same year I'm complaining about being over charged!!! I understand most vets are afforded grants, and certain funds for their organizations, however if those are not passed down to the low income individuals they should be serving, then the organizations shouldn't be able to receive any funds. I am due a refund of $812 ESPECIALLY when the low income sheet has NO DATE. There is NO ANNOUNCEMENT stating low income costs not available. They got caught price gauging, financial abuse of the indigenous and they don't want to admit it.
