I went to the **************, ********, IL location of the WOW car wash on August 13, 2024. I put my credit card in as prompted for a touch less car wash. I then pulled into the wash bay and no water sprayed and I didnt get a car wash. There is a $10.00 charge on my credit card account and I did not get a car wash. I have been calling the phone number listed on the building, as this is an unmanned car wash. I have called every day and nobody answers the phone, just an announcement that voice mail is not set up yet. The phone number is ************. I want my money back!Initial Complaint

I signed up for the founders rate online prior to the store opening on ************************** stated that you pay 1 cent for your first 30 days (once the car was opens and you pick your membership sticker). I went to the grand opening on the first day and waited over an 1 hr to get the sticker and wash my car. His main focus was getting new people signed up. He suggested that I come back another day because of how bust they were and advised. I would he waiting a while for someone to help me because of how busy it is. I thanked him and got my free grand opening wash and left. I did comfirm with him that the membership starts when I pick.up.the sticker and activate it. I came back to the location on 8-5 and picked up my sticker and had her activate it. She also confirmed with me the membership would charge my 1st charge 30 days from the 5th. To may dismay I went to wash my car the location **************************************. I believe his name is **** ( the assistant manager) he was great and provide great customer service. He gave me the number to customer service after checking my acct and advised me they would be able to help me. My issue now lies with the agent ************* I spoke to today at customer service. He was very rude and kept speaking over me while I was speaking. I explained the issue and he stated it started on 7-20 even though I had not activated or used the membership yet. I explained the add said first 30 days was 1 cent. And that I am not getting. Asked how else fan fix it. He repeated there nothing he could do and sorry that ***** given wrong info. I then asked for a supervisor and he says she will more than likely tell you the same thing. When I went to respond to what he had just said he cut me off again. I pointed it out again and advised his service was lacking and I still do not have a resolution. I asked for a manager. He advised ****** was not available and sent me to her voicemail. It did not take me to her vm and I had to call back.Initial Complaint

I was a customer at the car wash who is disabled I am a type two diabetic that has a medical issue with my bladder. I went to use the customer restroom but it was locked so I went to ask for the key but was told no because I was a bus driver. The young lady that was working in the office was very rude I ask for corporate number and her name and she told me that she did not have to give me her name l. I paid for a car wash and I drove through it. When I got done I saw a crack in my windshield. I told the district manager *****. He started yelling at me saying it was my fault and he wasnt going to look into it and he wasnt going to fix it. I asked him why was he so angry? He continues to tell in my face and say he has hd cameras and will see it was my fault and I can in with a crack. I told him I never had a crack. And then I ask for the owner. He returned with his business card and said he I will have to go through him and nothing will be resolved.Business response

None of our equipment was malfunctioning or having any issues. We had no other complaints that day or since then of anyone else having a problem with their windshields. Our equipment would not damage a perfectly good windshield. We are not responsible for the damage to her windshield. The customer also complained that her car was not clean. We had no other complaints that day or since that day of anyone saying they still had a dirty car after going through the wash. But I am willing to refund the price of the wash. I have asked the customer to provide her license plate number so I can verify what wash she bought. She told me she had bought the 35$ wash. I have yet to receive her license plate information. I also have A independent witness that observed the customer yelling at my manager and stated my manager was extremely professional with her.
