I have been a customer for nearly 15 years with the ******************* Allstate Insurance agency. I never questioned their full coverage auto insurance quotes even once, until yesterday. My full coverage auto insurance rates exploded by roughly $40.00 a month which to me on Social Security and 100% service connected Military disability is a huge increase and being senior citizen I can't afford to just give my money away needlessly. So for the first time in 15 years I actually got some quotes from different local insurance companies for exactly the same coverages as Allstate had in my policy. What I found out was a well known insurance company quoted me a monthly charge of $44.00 dollars a month for exactly the same coverages and with a few coverages increased as compaired to Allstates $169.00 dollars a month and change. I about fell over ! I guess trusting a company and being a loyal customer for all these years meant nothing! In some ways greed opens our eyes as it did to mine. I am transferring my auto and home insurances over to the new company as of Feb. 5th 2023. ****** learned, ALWAYS be wise enough to check around and don't just be a trusting idiot as I was.... Shame on ALLSTATE insurance...

I know that a rate increase can be upsetting. As an agency owner I do not have any control over the rates that Allstate as a company needs to take. I did try calling you several times and left voicemails to discuss additional discounts that you were not taking advantage of and possible other options. I did not hear back from you. This morning I received your email regarding the automated email you received from Allstate about possible savings. I believe you thought the policy was still active, but I have canceled them effective the date that you requested previously. Thank you for your years as a client and I wish you the best.
