I hired this company to cut my grass and ****** on June 11th they cut the grass but did no trimming of the ******,after calling them several times for them to come back over here they kept saying they would but never did, which seemed strange so after walking the property we found out why they had run into our brick fire pit with their riding mower damaging it,upon discovering this I took pictures and contacted ****** Hernandez of the company by text and also sent pics he text back sorry and they would return payment from the 11th a check the next day because they had not cashed it yet,which also should have been a clue that something was wrong because i had been waiting for the check to clear my bank.After doing some checking we found that it would be really expensive to repair the brick fire pit so i let ****** know that we we were going to need more than just that $80 check back actually we wanted an extra $130 to get a new fire pit because as they know brick fireplaces to repair are in the hundreds or even up to $1000 they did not take our offer and we have had no replies since, i asked for their insurance info to file a claim still no reply.I have since stop payment on that check that cost a fee of $25 because they did not return it like he said they would,they have already admitted guilt and i was willing to go a cheaper route by tearing down the old pit and putting a cheaper pit that would have to be moved inside after use instead of the standard brick year round stay outside fire pit. But since they don't want to be reasonable and they have damaged my property i no longer want the cheap fix.They say on their website that they do stone so they know it will be expensive to have this fire pit fixed properly, so now i'm asking for $500 to either repair or replace my fire pit with something close to the value of the one they damaged i also have the text and pic from our conversations i tried to settle with them to no avail.
