On October 9th, 2022, I went to Grease Monkey for an oil change. This was my first time getting my oil changed by them. In less than a week my oil light came on. Im not very knowledgeable about cars, but I knew something was wrong. Soon after, my battery light & engine light came on. Before I could even take it back to Grease Monkey seeing as they were the last to have worked on my car, my car stopped on me October 14th. I towed it to a mechanic on October 18th where he later told me the tow man dropped off my car said he could tell there was a leak. My mechanic then tells me they never put a filter in my car, due to that oil leaked on my ********* do have proof as well. I called the store & filed a claim through Grease Monkey on ******** in ******** ** on October 19th at which the store manager admitted its possible one of the new guys that made a mistake so I filed a claim. I called a week later & the store manager had yet to full fill the necessary actions to process the claim such as take photos, test the car, and take the filter for testing. October 31st I called again and this time the store manager tells me I would have to speak to his Market manager. I call him and he texts me back on November 3rd saying The store manager is going to pick up the filter to have it tested today then I will have an answer for you tomorrow midday. I call the store manager again & asked him what his next steps are without telling him what his market manager told me. He says ** still waiting to hear back from *****************.. I explain that I spoke with his market manager already, then he makes an excuse that he didnt have time. The following day he claims hed get the ********** requested that he meet me at my mechanics shop. Soon as I arrive he left. My car has now been sitting for 3 weeks due to this delay, I have been unable to work putting me behind on my bills, & is causing me immense stress. I am considering legal action.
