I was told I should get a Night Guard to protect from grinding my teeth at night. I said I was not interested due to the cost. They told me there would be no charge to me, my insurance covered it.At the fitting I was still told again my insurance covered it. On July 30th I had an appointment to pick up the Night Guard. At that appointment I was told there was a portion the insurance did not cover and I would be responsible for paying it. I told them I did not want it and they said it was too late because it was already made and I would have to pay for it. I asked to talk to a manager so I could attempt to get resolution.The manager told me that she would take care of the fee for the Night Guard and I could simply pay the balance of $61.40 to zero out my account. I made a payment with my credit card at that time and was told my account balance was ******* thought this issue was resolved until I received a letter from a collection agency. In an effort to clear this up I called Rockford Dental Care. They told me that they did not take care of the additional charges for the Night Guard and I still owed approximately $100 for it. They also told me again it didn't matter if I returned it that I would still owe the money.I politely reminded them of all the conversations I had up to this point including when the manager came out of her office and told me it would be taken care of. I reminded them that they told me that a payment of $61.40 would bring my balance to zero and that I made that payment before I left.During my phone conversation on August 15th, 2024, I was told that the agreement with the office personnel and manager was no longer valid. They told me they fired that manager and I was now again responsible for paying for the Night Guard.I was fearing that all of this would affect my excellent credit rating so I reluctantly made the payment of $98.00 and was told again that my account balance was $0.00.Initial Complaint

june 27, 2023 i had a proceedure to remove a cyst on my lower lip. rockford dental care required a fee upfront of $317.30. the cyst was removed and sent to ******** for analasys. the *** from ******** came back and the bill was paid. i have waited for the *** from rockford dental care. i have tried calling and leaving messages but had no response. i went in to talk to someone (just before thanksgiving) and the benefit coordinator there offered to mail in the submission to ********** blue shield. 2 weeks have now passed and BCBS has not recieved the paperwork. if this goes past the first of the year it will not be covered by my insurance.Initial Complaint

I went into the office asking for a cleaning. The dental hygienist gaslighted me and would not provide me service. I asked for a manager to contact me and then called the next day and then contacted via text weekly for months until I was able to get a new employee to call me back. They were not willing to accommodate to my requests and would not provide the service that I came in for nor reduce the bill or offer compensation for my issue.
