I hired USA Pro Construction to complete a roof covering project over an exiting patio. The work was completed in June 2022 and at the time *******************************, Owner of USA Pro Construction told me the permit was signed off on and complete. I was provided a 2-year warranty. I received a letter from the ******************** **** date May 1, 2023 stating that there was no record of a final inspection being completed and one would need to be done by 6/1/2023 to avoid a fine. I contacted ******************** who said he also got a letter from Will County and would take care of it. After not hearing from anyone I contacted the county building division and they stated ******************** had never reached out so I set up the inspection for May 19. I contacted ******************** on June 1 and he said he received a report and would take care of it. Through the month of June ******************** said a few times he would be out to take care of it but never showed up. My last message to him on July 10 has gone unanswered. I just need the few items from the final inspection to be taken care of so it can pass inspection.Business response

We did call finial inspection, the the inspector said to add a valley of shingles in the roof and call him, and everything else was passed and completed. They never finalized the permit as completed, after that day. We then got a notice the permit was about to expire. Our email said we never had a finial but didnt say we needed anything. After they came back out they wanted three things changed. Which we purchased and stopped there to install. We are willing to do anything to help brain get a finial inspection. From our understanding, it is completely and ready for inspection.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the work is yet to be completed. Some flashing has been dropped off but not installed. Ive been told a couple times that someone would be out to install it but it is distill sitting in my yard. Some other step flashing was installed but Id be surprised if it passes inspection. They are welcome to call the county for san inspection but I doubt it will pass.

The complaint by *************************** was resolved. We went out after the complaint and fixed a piece of flashing on the roof we built. We also put new downspouts on the structure. We talked to ***** about the issues in person on site. He was there when everything was addressed. Everything the inspector wanted completed, and to pass the final inspection was done. The customer was happy we came to resolve this.

I am rejecting this response because:While he did eventually come out and add some flashing on top of the original flashing, he was supposed to also call and get the final inspection completed. That has yet to be done.
