July 8th we had our asphalt done by this company. I requested that the asphalt meet and be flush with my existing concrete driveway which the owner said it would be. I had large rock which I requested to be removed prior to asphalt being poured. The owner insured me that the rock was fine and they would level it. When I requested a quote he sent his brother. I tried to talk to him about the project and he would reply my brother saw it I know what to do originally he was pushy in trying to get me to have him lay the asphalt on a day he was in my town. I was unable to accommodate him on that day due to other construction at my house. He was aggressive and said that he was doing me a favor and would have to charge me more if he came the next week.When the day came and my asphalt was poured, I was at work. My fianc tried to oversee the project but was watching our two year old. I told the owner I wanted my fianc to speak with him prior but they got started before she even got to our new house. The asphalt is uneven and cracking a week after the project. Ive had several contractors come out who have told me to have the asphalt removed or it will cause more problems including pushing water to my foundation. The asphalt is not flush with my concrete and the owner created a large mound connecting the two. I also had asphalt stuck to my vents leading to my basement. A large hole was cut out around my water hose hookup on the side of my house which we now cant access.The owner never consulted my fianc about that or myself. The owners crew left trash and my hose laying on the lawn. I had large holes from their equipment in my front lawn. My existing concrete has hardened asphalt which I have been trying to remove with a pressure washer. The workers were unprofessional (cursing, smoking in front of my two year old)After contacting the owner multiple times he became angry and hung up on my fianc. He has refused to refund our $7500.
