Id leave a lower score if it was possible. The service at the curb is not the problem. It is the office, billing and administration. Lakeshore charged us a late fee when they were given our approval to charge our credit card quarterly. It took months to get our account balanced. Now we cannot get them to bill us even though we have requested it more than five times. We have spoken with one account representative who was helpful. They can't manage something as simple as replacing a container for the right size that was ordered through them. 6 phone calls over 4 weeks and still they are not able to perform this basic task.Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

LRS makes you pay in advance and does not include a 'invoice due date'. You have to keep track of when the payment is due. This is totally opposite from Waste Management's policy. Unfortunately, according to the the Village of ******, they knew about the invoicing policy and did not care when they changed from Waste Management to LRS.Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

I would like to know who is monitoring their staffing and call volumes. On hold for 38 minutes on Friday (June 28th) starting at 11:00 am. This is out of control. Had service at 2 residences. Sold one and notified to cancel service at one address. Got email response back to send bill of sale/settlement statement to support sale and provide forwarding address. They have new address, have current service, and getting billing there. Sent email back asking for a second look on this ..............with no response!Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

Terrible customer service!!Company did not take my garbge on scheduled pick up day. The company has told me 2 times they would reschedule to the next business day. They have not come either of those 2 days to pick up the missed garbage pick up. I called the missed pick up department, they have very long wait times, I was on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes to talk to someone who told me i might have refilled the garbage after it was picked up by the company. After much back and forth she appologisted and saud she would send someone out. No one came to get the garbage for the 3rd day!Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

They dropped off 4 bins at my house and I use 2. . When I called and asked them not to bill me twice, I was assured I would only get one bill. I received 2 bills today. $176 to pick up my trash with no other options. They told me to leave the extra 2 cans out for the neighbors. They are still in my driveway. They are horrible. They refuse service if your bin is not perfectly placed to their liking, they leave constant notes chastising you for not leaving it in the correct place, they break the bins and dont replace them unless you call it in after they break them, and they leave the bins in front of everyones garage door or in the middle of the alley. And their customer service is not helpful. They were clearly the cheapest bid. I am forced to use them through my Village and would never voluntarily pay for their poor services.Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

If I could leave a zero I would! Terrible customer service. They don't want to help you. They send you to an automated voicemail, which I think no one monitors, so no one calls back. They kept transferring me from people to people. I only needed to know why I was paying less than what my invoice stated. No one could help with that. I also asked for my statement of account. They transferred me to a voicemail for that. I think that they are from overseas, and do not care about helping.Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response

ZERO STARS!! As I sit here, waiting on hold for a half hour (so far) to tell LRS that yet AGAIN they have forgotten to pick up our trash, I am wondering how this company could be so awful and keep their contract with my city (***********). They took our money for upgraded service, but have not delivered our larger bins, have not picked up our yard waste without reminder calls, have not picked up the one large item that we have put out for pick up (part of the additional payments we make), and today, its almost 4 pm and no garbage pick up. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. If your municipality offers LRS as an option, JUST SAY NO. Its now been almost 40 minutes on hold waiting to speak to one of their rude and unprofessional customer service representatives. I know if I use the call-back system, my garbage will sit on the street for another day. UNACCEPTABLE.Lakeshore Recycling Systems Response
