      We had siding put on our house. They covered the vents from my over the stove exhaust vent and my downstairs bathroom vent. I told the installers as they were applying the siding. I advised the company *** as they were siding. He obtained attic vents which they applied to three sides of the house. These are not the vents I need. I sent the salesman pictures of what they installed, what was there before and how the insulation was cut by the installers. Apparently the company informed the installers those vents were no longer in use. The company a man I thought identified himself as ****, today I was told his name is *****, told me he wanted to bring the house up to code. The house is over ****************************************** 2018. The code was in effect as of 2024. I am sure it does not meet code to have exhaust vents simply come in contact with siding.

      I have purchased windows from feldco, years ago, and has life time warranty, I was told by feldco, I have to pay a trip and installation fee, and only covers window , which has a film in between window. And I don't believe I have to pay this , this happened before , with this company, to. Have customer cover these fees, of 280 dollars. Thk you,

      Tuesday July 16 a rep from FELDCO spent over two hours giving a demo and presentation but left without giving me a quote. He walked me through his FELDCO is a great company binder, showed and demonstrated his window display and red sample door. Ive called the company multiple times only to be told ***** manager will call me back. To date this has not happened. **** is reporting he was not finish with his presentation. He measured two doors and a large kitchen window. I told him I wanted the replacements to be same color and same style.FELDCO and/or is representatives are practicing discriminatory consumer practices. I believe FELDCO or *******/**** are treating me differently based on a protected characteristic. Protected characteristics include race, color, religion, ***, national origin, disability, or age. FELDCO is refusing to offer a service by not reply to my inquiries and by not completing the quote **** spent 2.5 hours in my house planning for. Denying service for unknown or pretextual reasons. FELDCO gave a false reason for not providing the finished quote. **** claims he didnt know what the final product was to be although I explained to him I wanted same color and style of whats already in place. I want ***** to finish the job. ******** unprofessional behavior and work ethic is unacceptable. ***** manager should return my call (I called three times on three separate days). His manager should be able to take his notes and my measurements to finish my quote/project. There was a sale going on that I would have taken advantage of but ***** behavior has wasted time and the sale is ending. FELDCO refused to provide me with goods or services and have not responded to my calls for assistance. This is poor service on worse terms. **** AND FELDCO have allowed time to expire on a sale I would have taken advantage of thereby charging me more and making you wait longer. This is discriminatory and unfair to me as a consumer.

      Was charged $10,000 for special construction by the Feldco sales man that says was required.In watched them install the windows and took pictures, all they did was cut the windows out with a sawz all and put new ones in. The special was buy one get one free and free installation. When asked about the special construction the salesman said it wasn't part of installation. This is not right Feldco should credit the account as nothing was done. It was planned for two days, they did 17 Windows and a patio door in 7 hours. There was no special construction. I have tried getting g.someone on the Feldco team to respond and they wont after 3 attempts. Very disappointed.

      I am rejecting this response because: after speaking with the Operations Manager and the Sales Manager and supplying them with pictures they admitted that not all steps were completed for the installation and offered $817, plus $183 for customer satisfaction. I had asked to see the original written up contract but it has not been provided up to this point. Feldco is saying if they come out to show the special construction and they have to uncap a windows and it's there I have to pay to have it recapped. I am fairly certain the special construction quoted was almost $10,000 I don't feel $1000 is anywhere bear fair. They did offer to come.out pull the windows out and do the work that wasn't done at no charge but that puts strain on us ensuring everything is off the walls and moved.awayfrom the walls. Mycurrent situation with family health issues doesn't plot me the time to do all this. I asked them to meet me half way, $5,000 but they just keep saying $1,000. I explained that the salesman had told me the day I signed it was the last.day for the deal. Buy one get one half price no installation charges. The sales manager said that wasn't correct that was never a offer. I was referred to Feldco from somewhere had no issues. All I am looking for.is a reasonable accommodation from Feldco. If the labor is that intensive to charge $10,000 and they have said not all steps were.followed it should be refunded in its entirety.

      I am rejecting this response because: no agreement was reached. The original order order write up was requested was not provided. Feldco has stated the $10,000 is the charge for extra construction and since seeing the pictures I have sent have admitted stages of the install were not done because the installer didn't deem them necessary. If that's the case these tasks were not labor intensive and a refund should provided. An offer of $1000 as a refund was offered but I do t feel that's fair. I believe it should be much more.

      I called Feldco to have windows and doors installed because a friend referred me. When I called I asked there would be a referral for my friend and they told me yes.I called Feldco and ordered my goods and had the service done. When I asked the salesman about the referral he told me I had to call the office after the service was done. I waited and when I called I got a run around from the person on the phone about my friend had to call and ask.My friend called and they told her I didn't qualify because I was a past customer. I had called ******************** before to have siding done, I got an estimate and shopped around and found another place to have the work done. I had Feldco do some other work and now Feldco refuses to give my friend the referral fee. They claim it's because I was a past customer but that is just one of many stories they've told me including my friend had her service done too long ago to make a referral. All of these lies just to avoid paying the referral fee. I think Feldco is giving us the run around, they did not say anything about past customers before I had the work done.That is false advertising.

      04/17/2024 I signed a contract with Feldco for ******* With sales rep *************************** for ******* with half down he stated it was free installation right now that's why it's so cheap ! 2 Days later i received a call asking for the persons number that was paying for Door for me and I said why is there a problem ? He said no he made a mistake the Door is ******* and if I didn't sign the Addendum he was keeping my money I paid down ! I signed it and tried to cancel cause it says I have 3 Days to cancel! And ************************* Quad Cities General Manager called me yelling at me from his cell he was keeping the money that was paid down if I went thru with this . I'm on Iowa State waiver and this money came out of my spending account and I didn't get what I wanted ************************* said he can replace the door with handicap threshold. Or reduce it to ***** But this door has been replaced twice in 60 days and plaster is falling off and the hole remains. I told him but he reduced the Bill to *****. I'm 65 and this was a total scam and they seek out on elderly and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else ! I would like to see a reimbursement of a check so I can add a ramp by another company in the amount of ******* since it was ******* to begin with and it was free installation and fix the hole in the wall !

      When the pricing mistake was found shortly after the contract after the contract was signed, the customer was given the option to cancel the contract and receive a full refund, or agree to the actual price, which was still heavily discounted for the mistake. The customer chose to agree to the new price and signed off on an addendum to the contract adjusting the price. After the door had been measured and sent into production, she then changed her mind and wanted to cancel. At this point, since product had been made, the deposit would not be refundable per the terms and conditions of the contract. This was discussed and cleared up at the time. This complaint is the first we are hearing of any damage during installation. We have made multiple calls and left messages to the customer to try to rectify the situation that have not been returned. If she will return our calls we are happy to help resolve any outstanding complaints.

      I am rejecting this response because: The facts are plain and clear you had free  installation on all windows and Doors and would be  ( see sales agreement) ******** and after your sales person *************************** returned he told you the state was paying for the door out of my waiver money you decided to raise the price up to 4500  two days later and *************************** wouldn't return any of my calls because he didn't want to be involved ! And i called and spoke to many people in your company and I was told I can't have a new sales person after signing and Doors are not ordered that fast! You called me from your personal cell phone number I have saved and made a demand that if I go thru with this your keeping 50% of my money and stated why should I care the State is paying for it ! And today I received a phone message that you were calling that I left review that he messed up something on my home !( I have this saved also) Your company takes full advantage of people and I'm disabled and a senior citizen As he admitted I didn't get my handicap threshold and deducted 500 from 4500 I just want a refund so I can get these repairs done the way they were suppose to be ! ******** was the price on interior door and storm door with free installation. As confirmed with your company and Now this is a demand for ******* refund  so I can make repairs  and get this done the right way!

All I want is a refund!

      I contacted Feldco almost two months ago to purchase a box of siding. I am having my home remodeled and rewired, so due to having to relocate some exterior items to bring everything up to code, I'll need to replace some of the siding.After several phone calls to Feldco I was told they would need to take measurements and provide a quote to replace the siding. I was told I was not able to have my contractor do the siding work as it would void the warranty for the sections in question. The last three phone calls to ***** (5/22/24 -5/30/24) I was told I'd receive a quote by the end of week. At this point I have not received any return phone calls or quotes.My remodeling has been delayed due this. Therefore I am asking that Feldco just provide a box of replacement siding and honor the warranty and allow my contractor to complete the work.In addition, I filed a warranty claim for the four spots on the back of the garage that have damage, and have not received a call regarding when that will be completed.

      Seal broken on 3 windows. Feldco wants $504 to fix. My understanding is the windows had a lifetime warranty. They also tell me that the manufacture of my windows no longer makes windows for Feldco, that is why they are charging me $504.

      I called feldco for roof repair and was told they only install new roofs. I agreed to an estimate. After **** came for an estimate he reported one price. I received financing that day through ***** Fargo and signed the contract for ******. The salesman then called back AFTER the financing contract and said more money needed to be added to the contract. I agreed to an additional $1300 be added on to my contract because Feldco then told me a problem became apparent but he didnt notice beforehand. It was a little frustrating but finally they came to repair my roof. As soon as they repaired the roof ****, the initial sales representative, called and said an additional $2300 would be needed for additional wood that needed to be replaced, and to sign the paperwork to Indicate I was pleased with the completion of the roof installation. There were workers that did not speak English and did not do a professional job. If I did not get this call from Feldco AFTER the job was completed asking me for more money, I would have signed the paperwork. It has not been 30 days and the shingles are flying upwards, my ceiling is turning brown from rain due to their lack of performing a professional and proper installation. Feldco indicated I needed new wood and replaced the old wood, but Ive seen pictures of the wood taken out. I asked him to show me the pictures of the wood replacements but he says he does not have any pictures of the wood that was replaced. This company is not working for the customer but to steal money. Ive spoken to many people over this issue, one who threatened to report me unless I sign off on the contract. I refuse to lie and say Im pleased with this installation which is causing more damage to my home.

      Operations Manager spent multiple hours with the customer to go over their complaints. Additional $1,300 was added to the contract prior to the install to add siding that needed to be repaired to install the roof properly. Customer agreed to the change in advance of the install and signed a contract addendum, but has not signed the increase to the financing for it. During the installation, it was found that additional wood needed to be replaced. Per the terms of the contract, this is automatically added to the balance due. Feldco offered to discount it and eventually agreed to waive the fee for customer delight. We have pictures of the wood removed. If the wood was not replaced, there would be nothing to install the shingle to and there would be a hole, which there is not. This can also be verified from the attic, but customer refused to let us in the attic to take pictures for her. There are no shingles flying upwards, that is a deck air vent installed for intake attic ventilation, and is by design for warranty purposes. Everything has been inspected and is installed properly and there are no active leaks with the roof since its installation. There are zero issues with the installation itself. Customer has a gutter clogged with leaves, unrelated to the roof installation that Feldco has offered to alleviate for the customer at no additional charge, but customer did not want us to do so.

      *****, a representative of feldco, came to my home May 29, 2024, to inspect my complaints. He said the problem was my gutters were NOW leaking after the new shingles were installed, and was the result of leaves in my gutter. However, he showed me pictures of my gutter before the work was done, and his picture indicated the gutter has been damaged/dented which now results in a downpour every time it rains. He also indicated that the brown spots that are now becoming more evident as it rains, is also a result of my gutter having numerous holes in them from the flashing being removed. (See photo) This destruction of my gutters and the several holes causing water damage, was a result of poorly, unprofessional workmanship done by Feldco when the roofing was installed. However, I am being blamed for leaves being the cause. Additionally, the shingles that are now coming apart and flying upwards in several different places, is a result of them needing to be dried by the sun, and takes time to become adhesive is what I was told. My assumption is the plastic planks he showed that were used and not wood, see picture) which was used in the roofing process. I asked again why  Feldco did NOT inform me of wood removal WITHOUT informing me firsthand. He said that was a mistake but reassured me that the wood was replaced but I have not seen evidence of new replaced wood, even the new wood (3 planks) which I agreed to in the sales agreement. If he was able to take multiple pictures of the wood being removed, why wasnt the same effort applied when replacing the wood, IF it was replaced? He said I was not charged for the extra wood, that I did not ask to be removed/replaced without my permission. He insisted coming into my home to show me in my attic that the wood was replaced. I rejected this offer, because 1, he cannot fit into my attic and 2, my attic is not accessible in any form or shape to accommodate his presumption that wood was able to be seen in my attic. He said he would install a new gutter due to clogging of leaves, and replace the holes that are NOW in my gutter,  but ONLY if I signed the paperwork before he did any repairs to their workmanship errors. This company is not professionally run, has an F rating, and  prey on the elderly (in my case). I do not accept their offer of signing off on their poorly performed installation of a $17,000 roof, that is now causing water damage to my ceiling on the inside interior of my home. It has not been 45 days and these problems have occurred. The fact Feldco wont even admit the dented gutter which has been pulled from my house with multiple holes in the gutter now, which he admitted has happened, but will not take accountability says a lot about this company, coupled with the fact they will only replace the gutter AFTER I sign off is not a feasible resolution. My suggestion was to give me a week, until June 5, 2024, to talk to my family about what has occurred as I must find someone to help me. However, as evidenced in their response, two days after their visit, they did not wait for my response. I also asked if we can do a readjustment, which he replied no. ??Sincerely,??***************************

      The roof was installed per manufacturer's guidelines. There is no evidence of poor workmanship on the roof. The issues she is complaining of are unrelated to Feldco's install of the roof. The downspout in question had a leak issue prior to Feldco touching it. There is photo evidence of that. Feldco did not cause the downspout to leak. The gutters and downspouts were not in the scope of Feldco's contract, only the roof was. Feldco has offered to replace the downspout at no charge for customer delight, but customer has refused to sign anything to allow us to do so. Rotted wood was removed from the roof decking replaced at no charge. It would be physically impossible to install the roof without the decking being replaced after the rotted portion was cut out. The quality of their roof installation was made better for no extra cost to them. We are happy to take photos to prove that to them, but they have refused multiple people the access to do so. The brown spots on the ceiling were from a pre-existing leak prior to our installation. Since our install, there is no evidence of an active leak on the roof. Feldco stands behind the quality of the installation and completion of their contract, has attempted multiple times to rectify the unrelated issues to try to delight the customer, but they have been uncooperative with our attempts to do so.

      The poor workmanship is evident in the pictures. 1.) The dented gutter which now causes a waterfall whenever it rains. I would expect Feldco to fix this as it was their fault the dent took place after they finished, as evidenced in their picture taken 4/4/24 which indicates no dent. 2.) **** was removed without my knowledge and replaced with plastic, that is my presumption if no picture was taken of the supposedly replaced wood. Again, my attic is not accessible, so Im not sure why that is continually being asked?? A professional would take pictures of their completed project. 3.) ***** told me himself that there are holes on the gutter/roof which has caused the brown spots on my ceiling. 

      Additionally, the pictures are not able to be uploaded to this site of the holes ***** took,  or the pictures of the plastic planks that he brought to show what was used to replace the wood.
