I paid ***** for a repair to my sidewalk and front stoop. He made a longer crack in the Front stoop while mudjacking the sidewalk, in September, 2022. He put caulk on the crack, but within 2 months, the crack has become open and the caulk split. I have called numerous times requesting he come back and repair the crack, but my calls go unanswered. The work was supposed to be guaranteed for 4 years, This is only three months and the work has failed.

I contracted Raising ******* Concrete **** March 19, 2021 to replace the entire old cracked concrete portion of my driveway with new cement, not just sections. They removed the old concrete on May 5th, 2021 and installed new wire and stone to complete the leveling process. They waited for the City of Northlake's building inspector to come and sign off on the progress of the job before the new concrete could be poured. They received the approval to proceed and the fresh concrete was poured on May 10th, 2021. I want to go on record to say that on May 10th that it started to rain prompting the workers to try covering the concrete that had been poured. At that time I had concerns but was assured that the rain would not effect the finished product. Now jumping to February of 2022, after receiving 2.9 of snow on the 17th, I was shoveling and noticed there was something in the snow that I hand just scooped up. After picking up a piece of it I realized it was concrete. I proceeded to clear the area and noticed a rather large section of the concrete surface was pitting or crumbling. I took some pictures and immediately contacted Raising ******* concrete through email explaining what I just found and attached the photos as well. After the weekend I received a call from ****** the owner of the company, and explained to him the issue at which time he asked if I had salted the driveway and I told him I used calcium chloride knowing rock salt had attacked and destroyed my previous driveway. He said he would be out in March to check out the problem. I texted him on March 20th at 3:25 pm asking when he would be out to look at it and received no reply. I texted again on March 24th at 11:46 am at which time he replied at 8:01 pm that he would be out to look at it the following morning between 8/9 am. On March 25th at 8:20 am he texted me and said he would not be able to make it and apologized and we agreed on the next day 3/26th at 1 pm. He never showed up and now I get no response.
