    On Saturday, May 7th I checked into the hotel briefly to change before my grandfather's funeral. When I checked in the room was hot, there was a strong smell of marijuana, and the room was not sanitized or cleaned properly. Due to the time in the early afternoon I was hoping the smell would be gone and the hotel room would have cooled off by the time we got back to sleep. We were in the room for thirty minutes before we had to leave, When I arrived after 9pm with my daughter the marijuana smell was even stronger in the hotel room, the room was 77 degrees but due to maintenance not being in they just filled out a ticket. Due to these issues, I asked to be checked out and a refund. After a stressful day I didn't want to be sweating all night or having my little girl breathing in marijuana all night. The lady I spoke to said I would need to contact the manager on Monday and they would have to get with the accountant to refund me because she was not able too. I called on Monday and the new manager who also works housekeeping was never available. I was told be a different employee when she would be in and again was told how it would have to go through accounting. After finally speaking with the manager, ********, she informed me they had no way possible to refund me which seems a bit untrue considering two different employees said something differently. I asked to speak to her boss but a week later there has been no resolution and ******** stated she is unable to give her bosses name or contact info. She offered to discount a room if I would come back to stay with them again, but I live in a different state and was just there for a funeral, plus if I were to ever return I would not step foot in this hotel again. The room was $119, plus taxes, fees, and an "early check in fee." I was not provided with a receipt at checkout due to the person at the desk being to busy with her friends and didn't know how to check me out early, I only have the booking receipt.
