Group Administrators has been the most difficult company to deal with. Initially they had been paying claims but then they only did so when employees had to reach out to the office and they had to contact the insurance broker to contact group administrators to request that they pay claims. Every time I would call customer service they would tell me that my employer must release payment however when I contacted the employer they were not aware that they needed to release payments. The customer service department was not clear on what exactly this month but they stayed at this for many months. Then customer service began to state that the employer has not paid them in months however the employer has provided payment information for all invoices supplied to them by Group Administrators. The president doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that he has indeed received payment and unfortunately the employers suffer for this as he is refusing to pay any more claims. Even though the employer has provided proof that they had paid all invoices submitted to them by Group Administrators. They have not paid any claims for employees since the first week of April 2023. Now employees are in collections with providers due to non-payment by Group Administrators.

My company selected insurance through Group Administrators... I don't even know what to call it. They're not a provider, so I don't even know what they do. The website we use for them is something out of ****. Every doctor or pharmacist I've provided my "insurance card" to is confused. The card says Cigna, we apparently get RX delivery through Cigna, but they were quick to tell me "Cigna is not your insurance carrier. You use Cigna's provider network." I did not think it was possible to make insurance more confusing (for normal people and medical providers) but here we are. My HR rep told me to reach out to them, but I had reached out to HR because my emails to our 'contact' at Group Administrators had gone unanswered. I wish I had any choice at all for my insurance coverage other than Group Administrators, and I hope any employer considering them might see this and choose something else for their employees.
