      We filed a claim in Oct. 2023. We did not receive a confirmation that the claim was received. We followed up in Jan 2024 for an update and was given a timeline for payout around March 2024. On Feb, 27 2024, Roanoke advised the claim documents were being audited. On March 6th, we were advised payment was being mailed on 3/8/2024. The check was never received. We continued to follow up for status/check info and never received a response until 6/5/2024 advising us that the documents were not legible which doesn't make sense since documents were under audit in Feb 2024 and we were advised payment was scheduled for March 8, 2024. Final communication was that the bond was exhausted and there were no funds available to pay the carrier. Roanoke failed the carrier in this scenario by not communicating, following up, and did not follow through bond payment.

      Exactly what everyone else has stated. This company is a scam and joke. My 1st damaged shipment through freightquote wasn't insured and we got a measly $300 quite quickly through Roanoke. ****** learned so the next time we shipped we made sure the "insure" it for the entire value. Well, well well 2 months later and I am still out over $5,000 and I am "waiting to hear back" from underwriting. They think this is Lets make a deal....absolutely ridiculous and they should be embarrassed. I am getting nowhere with them and no on returns calls and you are lucky to get a return email weeks later.

      Dear **************,On 6/15/2023 our *********** sent you a letter informing you that your claim was respectfully declined due to the fact that it was not reported in a timely manner. The policy requires that you report any claim within five (5) business days after delivery to the final destination and your claim was submitted after eleven (11) business days. We apologize for the inconvenience.

      Do Not trust UShip or Roanoke. Our classic vehicle was stolen by a transport individual from the UShip site. We purchased the additional insurance through Roanoke for $315.00 which after 2 months they declined payment. The UShip site allows sketchy individuals to steal your belongings, and the insurance you think you purchase is boogus. Roanoke will take your money but if you have an actual issue they WILL NOT pay out! This is a total scam insurance!

      I submitted a claim on 7/8 with many follow *** and have not heard a single word from them. Its going on 2 months. ********************* "Queen of the Office" apparently is my specialist. I left a voicemail for "***************************" who apparently is her boss. I spent good money for insurance and this is what you get. I would love to resolve this without going down the legal road. I am at a loss on this one.

      Absolutely terrible experience. I cannot even begin to explain how poorly this company handles customer service. We've had zero help when we run into claims, zero help or response from them when having any questions at all. I could go on and on and on. Simply terrible. If I could give zero stars I would.

      The worst company ever, I bought a insurance Bond from the company being an importer and they canceled my bond without sending me or my broker a notice , tried contacting them and spoke to people and left messages and no-one ever tried to return my phone calls or messages .....

      I paid for insurance on a shipment from this company and the package was smashed, I mean garbage now, we filed a claim and have not been able to talk to one person with this company in two months and only a couple emails, we are very u happy and upset, this seams to be a terrible company, warning do not use
