I purchased a building that had a 2 year old Convergint system in it. When I called Convergint, the new sales guy, ****, told me I had obsolete stuff--that later proved untrue. Regardless, I agreed to upgrade the equipment he suggested. Since then, the access control and alarms have never worked right. Tech after tech tell me my system was set up incorrectly. The local branch, when they will actually respond, just keep charging me fees for sending more techs out and it never resolves anything for long. Currently, they are wanting to charge me upwards of **** to fix an app when my complaint was the burglar alarm going off. Two calls and the tech cannot see in his system what I am getting told is happening by dispatch and seeing with my own eyes--the alarm is going off in the building. This has been a never ending problem. The local branch usually never responds unless I send emails over and over and over. I then get charged for techs to fix the same things that they broke or improperly installed. I keep paying over and over to get my system to operate the way it was sold to me.To be clear, I have tried over and over to get the local branch that sold this stuff to fix it. I have had techs tell me I got screwed over and taken advantage of. I did not need the new equipment and now it wont work. I have many emails expressing my frustration with the whole system, maintenance, and customer service.********************* did work today and seems like the only guy so far that knew what he was doing and tried to address the many problems. He was very nice and helpful but he was fixing problems created in the install.
