The reason I am finally putting my complaint after one year is because I've come around to fix the gold peices i purchased from this dealer at Jareds* I bought and took loans on four pieces of jeweley, two gold bracelets one necklace (actually two but switched it for a bracelet after it broke) and one pair earings* Both necklaces have broken and both bracelets have broken aswel* First was a rocker chain which broke within 3 months of use* The dealer did say this necklace didnt have warranty * But having using the chain only 3 months and was completely rendered useless gave me an awful taste* After bringing it back since it was only threee months the owner told me i had to buy something more expensive So i gave him approximately $450 more dollars and recieved a gold bracelet which is now broken also* When i asked him if he had a scale to weigh the grams he said he didn't have a scale in store* A Diamond store with no scale is nonsense* The necklace i purchased which also broke i have fixed at ****** My sons ******** also broke and now having to fix this at Jared * ***** ******** broke after immediate use)* I now have one chain broken (which i fixed ) one bracelet (my sons) which i'm going to have fixed, and also my bracelet that i had to pay the up-charge and weighs less than the original chain purchased is broken * My gold bracelet ***** has told me cannot be fixed* How can i go here with the dishonesty from the owner saying he doesn't have a scale and basically will tell me to pay half a thousand dollars to get another new piece which might even weigh less than my original * Very bad experience here, 80% of jewelry was broken* When i made a ****** review the owner basically purposely confused me for another person and made it seem it like was my fault*

      Hi
This customer has purchased hollow and light weight pieces of jewelry as he has mentioned that we have informed him already that these items have no warranty on breakages.
The jewelry is stretched and is been badly abused and mishandled , we tried to help him couple of times and we did suggested to buy solid pieces and our upgrade policy is that item has to be double the value or more and must be in the same condition as sold.
Even though the pieces of jewelry are badly abused and we are stilling willing to upgrade it for the value.
This is the best we can do .
      Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting this because

      1. The rocker chain is the only item that did not have the warranty

      2. The two bracelets and other chain I purchased have all been broken since purchase and these items are not the ones that have warranty.
      3. Is it normal for your business to not carry a scale for the client to to make sure he or she is getting the same product identical when using your warranty?
      4. did you have a chance to see the other items I purchase before you indicate that these items have been abused and not just of lesser quality item?
      5. I dont think you are aware that all items I have purchased from your store are now broken , except earrings . That is 4 out of 5 pieces.
      6. is it normal to have 4 of 5 items broken within the year?

      Sincerely,

On June 26, 2022, I went to international diamond company store in **************, besides seling jewelry they also offer jewelry services, I asked them to set my one carat newely purchased diamond in a ring and they charged me $75 dollars for this. On 07/02 I picked up the ring, the diamond was set. When I sat in my car and looked at the ring again under the day light I noticed that there was a lot of blemishes on the surface of the stone. When I got home I tried to clean them with alcohol it didnt help. Today I came to the store to talk to their manager and explain that when I brought the stone to them it was perfectly polished, brand new, and I just purchased it about two weeks ago and was keeping it in the box. I explained that it was their jeweler who must have damaged the surface. He started to argue with me telling that it's not possible. I told him that it was perfectly possible and this was what had happened because it was a ***** black diamond. Instead of just polishing the diamond at no extra cost to fix their own mistake he was arguing with me trying to tell me something which was not true thinking that I dont know anything about the diamonds. For example he started to talk about clarity of the black diamond, when black diamonds do not have clarity at all, they are black! He was just lying to my face, he didnt even made an attempt to amicably resolve this dispute. Because they damaged my diamond that I purchased for my mother's 50th anniversary worth of $3,000 I am now leaving this review to advise their potential customers to bring their business to a different place. The manger acted as an unscrupulous merchant who was not ready to stand behind the service that he provides. Now I have to find a place where they will be able to remove those ugly blemishes and pay extra money for this out of my pocket because their jeweler negligently damaged my diamond. Thank you for your time and consideration. I want to get a full refund for this service.
