Loan officer ************************** employee of key mortgage is the loan officer assigned to do my loan to purchase a home, the loan in question required for me to get a consultant, I ask *** explain to me what having a consultant consist of because I am a first time buyer, his words to ************ was he gets to pick out our *************** get to pay for it, the price would be $500-$600 dollars, if the deal doesnt happen all the money we would be liable for is $150 which goes to the consultant for his time, ******* whom is my representative immediately said to *** that we wouldnt give up any money if we wasnt positive that we were gonna get the property, his words to us was he has a 95% success record in doing loans, our next question was are we approved for the loan amount, his answer was you are more than qualified, upon knowing that we got a cashiers check for $600 made out to the consultant, *** called us a couple days after we made the payment telling us he read the application wrong and we dont qualify for that amount of money to purchase the house in question, he apologized several times that it was his fault that he screwed up, so we accepted his apology and thought we could proceed on with the understanding we would get our $600 back or at least $450 back because we would have never gave the consultant any money if he didnt mislead us, ******* has several text messages saved where his comments we nasty & unprofessional, he also said he would give us a credit if we were to continue to use him as our loan officer on another deal which we declined, after he screwed up and wouldnt stand behind his s**** up there is no way we want to deal with him or his co. he works for, at this point we just want our money back, it the bbb cant resolve this matter were gonna get an attorney and *** for the **** Also my realtor spoke with him and he also apologized to her as well for him misleading us.
