      I put a $200 deposit down and was quoted a price of approximately $300 on the high end. Less if it took less time There was one piece of furniture 2 x 5 that needed to be moved out of a one story house to a one story house 26 miles away, ************************************** a form to sign for $275. They told me I would be reimbursed the $200 deposit. The name of the drivers are ***** and **** I spoke to ******* three days later because the deposit was not credited. She called me back once, and said she was looking into it and has never returned my calls since then. ******* is the person I spoke to originally about the quote. She said everything I talk to her about as far as timeframe and distance looked accurate, but she needed to get back to me after she talked to the men because they were busy moving someone else she never returned my call. I called on a Saturday and left a message. She did not Return my original call until Tuesday. $475 is not an accurate price to pay to move one small piece of furniture with a one hour round trip. This is not what was quoted to me. I never wouldve booked the job

      This customer was charged by the rules and regulations set forth and governed by the state of IL. Attached is the final Bill of Lading that the customer signed which outlines the total cost of her move. The total charge was within the range that was provided prior to the move. See the attached confirmation letter for the estimated price.

      I am rejecting this response because: The price charged was not the price discussed over the phone when we placed the order for service. Once delivered, we contested the price and the delivery drivers ***** and **** told us that we were going to get the original $200 refunded and that is why the cost was so high

      there is no way it should cost $475 to have one 2 x 5 piece of furniture delivered 23 miles to a first floor room. We would never have agreed to that in the first place.

      We. Tried to address this issue immediately, but did not receive responses from the office for three days

      this business does not operate professionally or honestly. I feel that all the moves made were intentional to try to take advantage of a 66 year old woman.

      This company performed moving services for **. During the move the crew was forceful and rough while move our washing machine into the home. Despite paying for a "damage" addition to the original moving quote, the company representative has not responded in over two months in regards to the cracked dials and scratched glass and dents that are on the washing machine. I have emailed and called and they continue to promise a call back with no answer. I would not recommend this company to others.

      6/16/2023 This business is a scam! They start by giving you a low rate estimate, thinking your getting a good price, that is NOT the case! They came into my home and looked around and started their job, about half way through they said our truck isnt big enough, were going to have to come back. They finished loading the truck and we headed towards my new home. As they started unloading my belongings the one guy approached me and said were going to have to reassess your rate, we can NOT unload your belongings until you agree to the new terms! My rate suddenly went up $500! I asked to speak to a manager. He explained to me that I had more boxes and furniture than expected. I agreed but I felt that they should have acknowledged that the minute they came into my home. They could see that the truck wasnt going to be big enough or two men wasnt going to be enough man power but the waited til they had my belongings on their truck and wouldnt start unpacking the truck til I sign the new assessment. They had me at their mercy and knew that! Single women feeling very intimidated and vulnerable. I obviously had no choice but to sign agreement. They unloaded the truck and headed back for the second load. Finally finished loading the last of my belongings, we head back.As their almost finished unpacking the truck, they come back and say we need to reassess your rate again! I literally ONLY had 7 items left on the truck and their boss ***** is yelling at them saying not to remove anymore, until I sign off and agree to their terms. I now owe them $300! I asked to speak to *****, who was the most disrespectful, unprofessional, and arrogant man I have ever dealt with! I asked to please dont speak to me this way and he came back and said I will speak to you however I **** well please! I have never in my entire life have felt so taken advantage of! I felt taken advantage of.I Ended up paying them double the amount than I agreed to.

      This move was performed within the rules set forth by the **** A revision to estimate can be presented at anytime during the move process as the full scope of the move is revealed. In this case the inventory list which was provided by the customer before the move changed once we were onsite. There was a "in progress move call" place at 11am to the customer. This call was not answered and our office left a voicemail with our contact info on so the customer could call if he or she had any issues.We are well within our rights to ask for payment before unloading items off our truck. This insures we receive payment for the work that was performed. Since local moves taking place in ** are regulated by a tariff, the customer was charged accordingly.

      My partner and I booked service to move items from a small apartment from in ********************** to ******* ** this month (June 2023). The quote we received stated that the cost could be anywhere from $600-$1000 and they charge $220 per hour. There were multiple conversations and while we knew travel time would be charged, we didnt know we would also be charged for the time that it took the movers to arrive back to Schaumburg. We ended up paying close to $1000 for a move that only took 3 hours to load, transport between the homes, and unload. When we tried to express our confusion with the process we were provided evidence and threats to go to attorneys. This so called evidence was a quote sheet that had no information about transportation costs and voice recordings of phone calls where the cost of transportation was mentioned but not explicitly explained. The email attached to the quote sheet explains transportation costs (which they highlighted after the fact) but the quote sheet doesnt and they werent clear on the calls. The movers who were actually great said this scam happens all the time. We have no problem paying the amount that we paid if it took 4-5 hours to complete the service. We think their responses and demeanor have been unethical and unprofessional.

      On 6/17/22, I utilized Two Men & a Truck services for a household move. It has been the most disappointing situation and we are looking for a reimbursement for the entirety of the cost of our move. We were charged $3577.75, & we expected our move to be handled in a professional manner. Move was scheduled for 9AM, and after waiting 1.5 hrs for the movers to arrive, I called only to be told that the movers were sent to our delivery address and no pickup address was notated on the driver's paperwork. That made no sense to me as I was called the night before w/confirmation of my pickup address & time. After speaking with a manager, ****** I was told the movers would be at my home in an hour and he would send additional crew to assist since we had a deadline. The movers eventually showed up at 11:15 with additional support, although the move was not completed in the time needed. There were a few items that did not fit on one truck, so the movers placed those extra items on a truck to store in their warehouse in Schaumburg, Il overnight. The next day, a crew showed up for delivery, half of our items were not wrapped and damaged. These are large pieces of furniture that should have been handled with more care. Once the first load was delivered, the crew went back to the warehouse to get the rest of our things & were missing items. I called the manager I had previously spoken to, & left countless messages with no response. I then spoke with another ************ told me he would drive out to the warehouse and check to find my missing items, still missing my things and he stopped returning my calls. I emailed corporate and they will not fix a thing but are demanding photos or damaged goods while ignoring my missing things.

      I am rejecting this response because there has been no communication on their part since my last reach out to Two Men and a Truck regarding my damaged items. They have failed to respond to my phone calls and emails. They have deliberately and intentionally ignored me. As far as filing a claim for my damaged items, no one followed up with me in regards to doing so or how to do so. Pictures were taken by the movers themselves of the damaged items and reports were made that day before they left and charged my card. The items that were damaged are valued at more than the move cost me. Im not satisfied, and this dilemma has not been rectified. Two men and a truck are choosing to decline my calls at this point so we cannot resolve the matter until we can communicate effectively.

      I am rejecting this response because no communication has been made after countless attempts to contact their company. I have personal purchase receipts of all the items that have been damaged and they total well over the amount paid for the moving services. This experience has not only caused me stress and frustration, but it also resulted in severe damage to my belongings that have not been resolved. I was told that I would be contacted in regards to damage reports written by their movers along with photos taken, and I have yet to hear back after countless attempts to contact them. I have left messages for both managers that I was working with, ***** and *****, and neither one of them have contacted me, returned my calls or messages, and have left it up to their reception staff to deal with. A resolution to this problem from an early stage would have been to return a call from me and attempt to resolve the issue in a professional manner. I am still requesting a refund for the poor service, unprofessional like conduct (by not one but two managers), and their lack of efforts to contact me or return calls in regards to the damages they have done to my furniture. So, whether the merchant chooses to refund me or the credit card company completes the dispute, I would appreciate a refund for the terrible service that was attempted and furthermore, I will never use their services in the future and will not be recommending their services to anyone that I know. It has been an entire month since my move, and I still have damaged items not addressed and broken furniture that I would rather part with than keep due to the severity of the damages.

I have gone up to ******************** and the the location manger for Schaumburg has already been in touch with corporate and they have emphatically said they will refund or fix the problem.

      Based on the coverage option ************* choose at the time of her move she is entitled to a settlement in *** of repair in the amount of $171.00. ************* did not accept that settlement amount and has now attempted to reverse the charges on her credit card that she used to pay for her move. We have paused all attempts to repair damaged items until we have confirmation that the charges have not been reversed. ************* has been emailed this information on 3/14/2022.

      Please let me know if you need copies of any signed BOL or credit card slips.

      As i explained to ****************, i will not accept that because 1, its a slap in the face considering that that us what i had just spent to get my couch cleaned just a few weeks prior to my move. 2, all the damage sustained was way more than ******, and i was originally quoted **** dollars and 4 to 5 hoyr completion time. 3, i wdidnt sign anything, and the fact that they are trying to stay with the fact that it was singned but signed by my daughter who is under age and literally knew nothing. They knew they were not talking to me because i showed up and if qurstions were to be had they had every opportunity to subject me to said queations butvthey dis not. They disnt mond twlling how they think tbey were acrewed over with the **** dollar quote and that it should be way more. Also, had they at any time mentioned to me what my daughter had done i would have quickly renounced that and told them no. Anyone can tell you i font not insure anything. Everything in my home is i sured and i would have at the very least picked the middle which would have been the 60 dollar one. I told there ***** stream location that when they qioted me because at least tbey had the decency to tell me about insurance.. so no. I dont accept. Theyre going to have to give me more than that because not just talking about my couch but my bed and mattress and all my bedding the walls and woodwork the dirt all if that is worth more than ******.all in all i neded up paying **** dollars to them and i dont think thats including the 250 i had to pay to book them. They are frauds and about money. They definitelyare nit tje moving company that cares and i will use every breath in me to say so. And as i stated, i dont care what happened at the end of the day i paid for a service that did not deliver *** they got a huge chunk of my hard earned savings all while this was supposed to be one the best times of my life, they have made it pure h*** Excuse all the typos, i cant correct anything here.

      That return you are referring to has been resolved almost 3 weeks ago. I kmow you were sent notification because i was sent the confirmation of your company saying no. So to me this is an excuse as is with all your "business" dealings seems like. I dont think you guys are in any hurry to do anything to resolve this except to try and pay me out ****** dollars. As if! I will take this thing as far as i can go. Yall got the right one, and for this i will make time. You will not cheat me out of my hard earned money after damaging my items. I still have to eat off of permanently scuffed,scratched and dented Oneida silverware that was not cheap as well as my calphalon pots and pans that your team so carelessly droppeed on the concrete and all i got was, sorry. NO. And you, **** have the audacity and the temerity to call me a liar?! We will see whos the liar when this is all over. I will not back down and you will not buy me off with ******. Heck, no one in that office would take that and be okay with it after the stuff yall pulled.
