Fire happened Dec. 2020. Cera construction was hired for restoration in Jan 2021.They overcharged and did not complete home in the timeframe that was on the contract. Their work was not up to code and failed many inspections.Business response

Greetings,
I would like to begin by stating that ********************* has entered into a contract with a realtor to sell his home which conflict with the contract Cera Construction has with him regarding the repairs to his home. I have attached the contract he signed with Cera Construction which was signed prior to the one he has entered with the realtor. Mr. ***** is currently violating paragraph 2, 15 & 17 and is also asking that we perform repairs that are outside of our original scope of work at no cost to him.
At this time Mr.***** is withholding over $30,000 although the work has been completed. He is withholding this money because he would like us to repair certain items in the home that his realtor pointed out although they were not part of our scope. Our company has been attempting to contact Mr.***** for the past 3 weeks to try to find a medium that would benefit all parties involved but he has been non responsive. My team can support this claim by forwarding emails, text and phone logs.
We would like to resolve any dispute with Mr.***** if he is willing to speak with us regarding his concerns.
