    Green Light Restoration began remodeling my residence on 12/29/21. Today is 9/16/22 and the work that was scheduled to be complete in March 2022 has yet to be completed. The paint job is incomplete with areas that are still just primed, ceiling paint that is on the wall, walls left half painted and other areas that feel like sandpaper due to lack of sanding. Baseboards were cut and laid in place and never secured and in many areas werent done at all. New doors that were installed dont close. During the process of putting in the new countertop the entire kitchen flooded and the contractor (*********************************) was not reachable and didnt leave an alternative contact. It took 4 hours to clean up the water in my kitchen and a dehumidifier running continuously for 5 days to remove the remaining water. The marble floor tile and mosaic kitchen tile was installed noticeably uneven. The kitchen backsplash was capped and caulked to join the connecting ends. As ***** attempted to repair the damaged floor planks that should have never been installed he caused more damage than what existed beforehand. While discussing this with him he became irate and being unable to de-escalate the situation he was asked to leave. The owner (***********************************) was made aware of the unprofessional conduct of ***** and my request to not have him return since this was not the first time he had lost his temper. ****** made assurances that the work would be completed in a professional and timely manner to rectify the incomplete/unprofessional quality of the work. Previous conversations were had with ****** regarding the same issues and subsequently he conducted a walkthrough on July 10th to view the work. At that time he made the same assurances. However, he has been unresponsive to emails and text messages sent to him beginning on 8/2/22 requesting completion and correction of the unacceptable and incomplete work. Approximately 60 to 70 pictures were sent to ******.

    If I could give *** negative stars I would. *** is the most incompetent business owner *** ever had to deal with. He should not be in the roofing business since hes not a licensed roofer who can provide quotes for roofing jobs. He will send crews unexpectedly to do roofing work without a permit and leave pallets of supplies sitting on your driveway for months. Our insurance claim was approved in July 2023, and we finally finished the job in June 2024. If I hadnt signed a contract with him and wanted to make sure held up his end of the contract, I would have bailed 10 months ago. Incompetent business owner.Not a license roofer Did work without a permit Worst customer service Ive ever had to deal with, very unprofessional Worst communication ever. oWouldnt hear from him in weeks. Ended up having to text (so I had it in writing) on updates and when certain things were going to be completed. At times, he would ignore texts until I continuously texted him for answers. He never initiated communication unless it was contacting the incorrect client. EXAMPLE: Would text and say a delivery is at our door, when we were not expecting a delivery. Said that our roof and gutters will be completed tomorrow but once tomorrow came he would say, he texted the wrong customer and that he got his customers mixed up. oHad roofers at our house without any communication. Had gutter company at our house at 7:30am without any communication. After confronting *** about people showing up without any communication, he says, Normally my clients dont mind. Didnt think you guys would be up at 7:30am. Disorganized got his clients mixed up all the time. I would be embarrassed if I were him.Subcontracts all his work since he is, once again, not licensed.Never once did he come and look at the job. Said he would come out to see how the progress was but havent seen him since the contract was signed 7 months ago.
